First bought the previous version without the touch door, showed up damaged, fixed twice, then replaced, then that was replaced with this version and now I've had the Ice maker replaced twice in a year and a half. It drips water into the bin and freezes all the Ice into one big chunk. Not real big fan of LG refrigerators, TV's sure, but not refrigerators.

It arrived with the butter tray broken! Freezer bracket broken. I was going to accept it anyway but geek squad said they couldn't replace the butter tray. I got to replace the whole refrigerator for a butter tray. Lol

Perfect fridge for my use. I needed something a bit bigger for my basement. Mostly for storing beverages, but also overflow for the main fridge for when we entertain. This was as big as I could fit through my 30" basement door, which is actually only 29" including the trim. When you remove the doors, and the dust cover and other stuff off of the back, it's exactly 29" wide. Super tight squeeze, but it fit. The interior storage is generous, particularly the freezer. It's well lit and very quiet when it's running. The stainless steel exterior is very nice and looks great. Looking forward to many years of use with this fridge.

My nearly 20 year old (2006) Kenmore fridge was showing signs that it was failing for months. When food was spoiling, I had to act fast to replace it. When I was searching the Best Buy site for a new fridge, I looked for a basic fridge with at least a four star review rating. I don't need an ice maker or anything fancy. I first noticed the Insignia 18 Cu. Ft. model with ENERGY STAR Certification. I checked it out in my local Best Buy store. It was a bit too small for my needs. I was glad to find this 20.5 Cu. Ft. model, which is a better size for my needs. It's a little smaller than my old fridge, but reasonably close enough in size. I have it almost a month now and I like it. The mostly good customer reviews, energy efficiency certification and my positive experience with other Insignia products (TVs and radios) were all considerations in my purchase decision. At least one review reported excessive noise, but I find the noise to be a non-issue. On the contrary, I find it relatively quiet. At least no more noisy than my old fridge. It's a very good value. I highly recommend it.

This refrigerator fit my needs, but I was nervous about getting it after reading some of the bad reviews. However, after speaking with the sales associate in Best Buy I decided to take a chance & purchase it. It was also on sale at a really good price, around $650. The refrigerator looks nice, has plenty of space, is functional & works great. I had an ice maker installed and it works great too. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the performance of the refrigerator. Especially, at the low price point. However, as others have mentioned it does make weird noises. The noise isn't all the time, it's intermittent & it's not too loud, but it does take a minute to get use to. I've had the fridge a few weeks now and I'm starting to notice the noise less. I would recommend this refrigerator, especially if you are on a budget. The quality exceeds the price point. I also ordered the extended warranty, which was inexpensive (around $100) because of the cost of the fridge, so I'm covered if anything does happen.

After reading a few reviews, I was concerned about the refrigerator being noisy. However, after a month of having this in my kitchen, I have yet to hear it make the same noise twice – in fact, it's quite a quiet unit. Additionally, it is stylish and spacious for a very good price.

The first one the shelves broke immediately. They came out and brought me a second one and it looked used. When they came out and brought me a third one it was damaged. However I ended up just keeping the second one as Best buy ended up giving me some money back off of it. It feels like a solid fridge nothing like my $4,000 Samsung but seems to keep everything nice and cold. The lights were good it's definitely bright in there. Hoping to get a few years out of it before the condenser blows up.

Great refrigerator for the price. Our expectations were low for this basic fridge, but it looks terrific and has performed perfectly. It's fairly quiet and cools evenly in both compartments. Better than we hoped. Recommended.

Originally had concerns about this frig, but it seems to be working okay. It doesn't have handles so I think a better design would of been to have the hand "grips" on the sides instead of the top of the bottom door. With it at the top of the door it makes it a great place for dirt / dust / whatever to build up. When running it's very quiet, at times you have to actually stand in front of it to hear it which made me wonder if it was really working.

Great size and it came to temp for usage very quickly. Has a larger size freezer than I thought. I love that magnets actually stick to it as well.

Purchased this fridge for our garage. It’s been a solid fridge and has caused us no issues. Plenty of room for storing drinks and everything else.

This is the most spacious fridge for the size. Happy I was able to get a great deal. Good lighting inside. Great temperature. Love the metal silver color.

I have this in my man cave. The room is climate controlled so there's definitely no temperature fluctuation. Every now and then I hear a sort of roaring noise and it's a constant from this fridge. I drown the noise out by having the TV or when there's noise from the group of people in the man cave. The fridge itself keeps the drinks cold and everything in the freezer portion frozen. The light in the freezer is nice. However the shelving in the refrigerated should flush better. The bottles do start tipping once it gets about 6 or 7 bottles deep.
