If you like rice, get this Insignia rice cooker. If you like rice but don't like to cook rice, get this Insignia rice cooker. This thing has literally changed my life. I LOVE rice (preferably Jasmine Thai white rice), and now I love to cook it because of how simple it AND perfect it comes out when cooked in the Insignia rice cooker. I personally add a little bit extra water past the fill line based on the texture I prefer for my rice. Comes out perfect every time. I've also cooked red, black, and brown rice. All of them come out perfectly. I've also gifted several of these to others because of how great the rice cookers are. I also appreciate that all Insignia products come with an automatic one-year warrant that allows you to exchange the item at any Best Buy store if it stops working within the warranty period. I've been using my first one for well over a year (this recent one was purchased as a gift for a friend) and haven't had a single issue with it. Super easy to clean the interior pot in the sink or dishwasher, and the cooker itself cleaners up pretty easy because all you have to do is let the water from the steam either air dry or wipe it dry with a towel. Love this rice cooker! So easy to clean and has held the cooked rice for an hour without getting stuck to the cooker. Bought a second one for the lake-more time spent outdoors instead of the kitchen. Tip- rinse the rice well before cooking, it’s a game changer!

I bought this for my girlfriend because she needed a rice cooker. She is Phillipino and cooks rice daily. Hers broke sometime ago and she never got another one. I was worried that this one might not be good enough for her, but she LOVES IT! I am so happy you had this on sale and that it caught my eye. It is an excellent decision/excellent rice cooker, and SO MUCH MORE!

Love it. This does everything it said in the description. This cooker makes the fluffiest tastiest rice I've ever made. So simple to use, add rice and water and push button.

The rice turns out great but my biggest love of this machine is the steamer. For a single person who currently is living in his camper and is too lazy to fill the propane for the stove, this rice cooker is perfect.

I bought this as a Christmas gift after purchasing one for myself a few months ago. It is easy to use and does the best job of any rice cooker I’ve ever owned ( many over many decades including those purchased in Asia)

I didn’t think I would like a rice cooker since I’ve always cooked my rice on the stove but chose to give it a try & I’m glad that I did. This literally is a no brainer. The measurements are marked & easy to follow. I’ve also used it to steam veggies & it does a decent job.

I love cooking my own meals but sometimes does not feel like watching the pot on the stove. I bought a nice digital pressure cooker which does a lot of things including cooking rice. I LOVE it but it’s heavy and I sometimes don’t want to be bothered with bringing it to the kitchen or if I’m cooking meat in the pressure pot I have to wait and then cook the rice. I saw smaller rice cookers elsewhere that were costly. When I saw the price I could resist. I’ve used it several times cooking white rice and also my Caribbean rice and beans. I love that I don’t have to monitor it and when it’s done it stays warm foe a while. I love it!!!!

This thing has made my life soo much easier. I dont have a stove at my home. So using this to cook rice and steam vegetables have been really easy. My rice has came out perfect every time I used it.

Brought this on “Deal of the day” for $24.99 and you can’t beat this price for a rice cooker. I used to buy Japanese brands for over $200 and off course those brands are more high tech with a whole bunches functions. As for this rice cooker your rice still come out a bowl of delicious rice. I will definitely recommend this for people that are on a tight budget BEST BUY!

I gave the rice cooker as a gift. The gift receiver called me with raving reviews. Cooks rice perfect following directions included with the cooker. She is excited to try cooking outer foods in her rice cooker like oatmeal and steam vegetable. She would recommend this product.

Works Great. Better Then I Expected. Like most rice cookers Its best to follow the rice to water ratio based on the rice you are using.

Honestly I never though I’d need one of these until I caught this bad boy on sale. I do have a slow cooker with a rice option but it always left the bottom slightly burnt/crunchy. I wasn’t interested in having a separate rice cooker until I read that it cooks much more effectively than a slow cooker(if you’re nit picky about those kind of things). Well I wanted to test that theory so I got this at a sale price. I cooked my first batch of Jasmine rice and it came out perfectly. I love that it also came with a steamer tray and also has options for different strains of rice! I fell in love with this appliance just in time for the holidays!

Excellent Rice cooker! Rice doesn’t stick, easy to use with practically no learning curve! Rice comes out quick, hot, and steamy. Heck I even cook yellow rice with this cooker!

This was a great value! Although 20 cups is too big for me, I am happy with it and works great. I only use it as a rice cooker but can be used as a steamer.

So I watch a lot of you tube and if you’ve ever seen uncle Rogers videos he always mentions to get a rice cooker. I wasn’t paying for his pricey one so this one was on the deals of the day so I figured why not try one? BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!! I don’t follow the instructions. I follow the finger method to fill my water like uncle roger suggested. Works every time!

Overall great rice cooker. easy to use and perfect white rice so far. Haven't used it's other cooking features yet. The only con would be the top cover has to be cleaned in place. No too bad but our old rice cooker had an insert that could be removed and washed in the sink/dishwasher.

Amazing! We went from a small 3 cup rice cooker to this monster. Easy to clean and works so well!
