    We replaced our Aroma digital rice cooker with this new unit. My wife is Asian and rice cooking happens every day. Wife very happy with cooker so I am happy as well.

    I needed to replace my previous rice maker and found this item on a deal of the day. I was immediately impressed by the craftsmanship of the item, the functionality and overall eye appeal. In addition, this item comes loaded with tons of additional cooking tools such a measuring cup, spoon, streamer tray, etc. In summary, yes I would purchase this item again and purchase for as a gift for others.

    I used it to make a cake, which was cool. Otherwise, I have used many rice cookers in the past and I think this is a little over-engineered. For example, the condensation trap is really not intuitive. Despite operating and cleaning many rice cookers in the past, I had to read the instructions to determine how to even access and clean condensation in this rice cooker.

    Love the functionality with this one. Great way to cook and steam at the same time. I even bought one for mom. Makes good traditional rice, but also try some Mexican rice below while steaming tamales. Turns our great. Good non stick clean up with friendly utensils.
