I bought this reciver strickley to play my audio technica record player. The record player has a built in pre amp for phono so I just wanted a receiver. The Bluetooth was a shooting great bonus! Bluetooh has great range played music from my phone in another room. Great audio reciver for music is all I use it for.

Got this to play desktop computer audio, phone audio, and vinyl. It's terrific. Everything sounds great, especially the records. (I missed you guys; thanks for waiting patiently in a crate in the basement for a couple of decades for me. I played you, and I remembered why I loved you.) Drives a set of Aiwa speakers from the 90s and makes them sound great. Remote is full-function, and almost all features of the receiver can be run from either buttons on the front or the remote (very handy). It was on a Black Friday sale, but even at regular price it's a good deal on a receiver that wants nothing to do with your television.

Bought this for my garage. The Bluetooth works great, plenty of power to drive my speakers.

I read some negative reviews on this unit but decided to try for myself. Glad I did. I am using this unit in my garage/shop so its not used every day. But have used it several times now and so far so good. The bluetooth capability was the main reason I chose this one. Too many ads on radio these days. But I did test the FM function and it pulls in the usual stations around here just fine. I am driving some smallish speakers but even so, I can crank them and they sound great. The only "con" I dont like so much is that the remote is necessary for some functions. In the old days EVERYTHING was on the face of receivers. I guess its the style now to do it this way....would prefer to have ever function available on the unit itself in case I lose the remote. That is why I took off one star. But for the price, and considering the performance so far, I guess I can live with it. Hoping the unit lasts long term. It should -- unit seems to be a quality piece.....but time will tell.

Nice reciever and the Bluetooth option is great. Affordable priced compared to other receivers with similar options.

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day as his outdoor receiver was going out. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was so low priced. I was extremely surprised & pleased. This receiver has exceeded my expectations. We hooked it up in time for the last game of the Stanley Cup & we blared Gloria after the big win. The entire street heard it! Don’t hesitate to buy this. Just do it!

I initially used this receiver with bookshelf speakers and I thought it was terrible. Then I bought nice JBL tower speakers and wow! Everything changed. Yes, this receiver is not mind-blowing, but for the price it is really good. If you want better sound quality, you need to get a more expensive Yamaha receiver or even better: integrated amplifier.

I'm not much for the insignia brand, but this was hard to pass up. I was ready to return it if it didn't work, but hey, worked and is still working like a champ. Picked up bt signal at 50 feet just fine streaming from both Galaxy Tab and iPhone. If you are looking for simple, and inexpensive this is the ticket.

More than enough power and volume for my 1200 sq. ft. shop. Great sound even on old, cheap speakers.

I purchased this as a low cost option for an outdoor patio setup and I've been pleasantly surprised! There's plenty of tuning memory if you choose to use it for FM tuning, although the the reception isn't the greatest from the supplied antenna. Sound output is clear and doesn't clip easily even when turned up loud. the Bluetooth is able to pick up from quite a distance even with obstructions.
