I have had this product for a little over 2 months, it just stopped working. Would not charge my phone anymore. Very disappointed. Have always loved Insignia products. Don’t know why this happened.

Best Buy’s in-house Insignia brand brings 20W power to the table with a clean new sleek look and very solid charging capabilities. The foldable plug makes it compact and very portable, I love having a few of these in various travel bags and in my vehicles so I don’t forget power when I’m on the go. I have both an iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Pro 12.7" tablet that I was able to get powered up easily- the phone hit 50% battery in about a half-hour, and hit full in under two hours, the iPad Pro took around three hours to full charge. I also have a Samsung Galaxy watch (first generation), and the 20W was more than adequate to get it fully charged in a short period of time. With a lot of devices around the house throughout the family, having a handful of these around in different rooms is super convenient. Considering you can find them very readily and as close as your nearest Best Buy, (coupled with the fact that they are significantly cheaper than the Apple charger), it’s a win all around. Would absolutely recommend.

I am a stickler for a product is packaged from a company. My thought is this: if a company takes the time, effort, and the resources to package their product in a package that goes above and beyond what is required, then the majority of the time, at least in my experience, that product will be HIGH quality or better. Insignia did just that w/ the 20W USB-C Compact Wall charger for the new iPhone. I was amazed when I opened the outer packaging and found the box that this is shipped in. Here is why I am super impressed. It has an “outer flap” that you can open to reveal the contents on the inside, that in and of itself is always impressive to me, but Insignia took it a step further, their “outer flap” is magnetized on the top and bottom of the flap, (at least as best as I can tell) and the flap stays shut when its supposed to. The inner packaging is also very impressive, w/ the carton that contains the charger. Everything is tightly and neatly packaged. Thank you Insignia for going above and beyond in the package of this new product. Its just like the product it is designed for, that “Fruit Company” goes the extra mile to package their products as well. They will fit together like a hand to a glove. Now to the charger, when Insignia says its Compact, they mean it. Normally a charger of this wattage is a lot bigger. This is actually on the same size of the charger that comes for the iPhone from the factory. Its just a tad bigger, but as that old saying goes, good things come in small packages. It has the foldable plug, and will charge both iPad and iPhones. If you are in need for a great COMPACT wall charger, look not further.

The Insignia 20 watt power direct charger is a great and more affordable alternative charger compared to OEM chargers. The Insignia power direct charger is similar in size compared to Apple’s chargers but has angled sides so as to differentiate it from Apple’s charger. It has one USB-C port so you can connect your cable to charge your phone. Do note that this charger can also be used for Android phones albeit Pixel phones require only 18 watts and Samsung phones can go up to 25 watts. Nonetheless, both can be charged by this charger. Also, the Insignia charger has foldable prongs which makes it more compact when not in use. (I wish all chargers are like this. Even the original Apple chargers don’t have foldable prongs.) And the charger is sold without any cable. All in all, there is nothing fancy in this charger but it definitely works. It charges just as good and fast as OEM ones. And this has been my secondary charger wherein I store this charger in my laptop bag so that I would always have a charger on hand, I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a nice compact adapter, and while it is sold as an iPhone adapter it was able to work with just about any other device, I have that can connect to USB-C. The adapter is compact, not the smallest I have ever seen, but plenty tiny. The prongs fold back down so that they don’t catch on to anything in a bag. This keeps it small for traveling. It doesn’t take much of a footprint on a power strip so shouldn’t obstruct the rest of your power adapters. Since the adapter is rated for 20W it is plenty quick to charge your iPhone. Provides the same charging speed as the Apple branded adapter but at a much smaller size. This little adapter had no problem charging up my iPhone, AirPod Pros, and even did an ok job tryin to top up my iPad. I also was able to use it to charge up my Apple Watch without any issues whatsoever. If you’re looking for a fast, compact charging adapter then this is an easy recommendation. Works great, without messing up my adapter setup on the power strip. A great alternative to what Apple is offering.

Honestly, there's not a lot to say about a charger for your phone or tablet, is there? What matters to most is "does this work reliably?" or "how quickly?" Followed by..."can I find a space for it?" The Insignia 20 Watt USB-C IS a fast charging device, comparable to those typically provided by the higher quality phone and tablet manufacturers. The build quality was also equivalent, if not more substantial. I like the form factor that allows it to squeeze in where some other chargers do not. The flip-out blades make it easy to carry in your pocket or luggage when traveling. No snags. No gashed fingers, nor fabric. It has enough output to work with all phones and most, if not all, tablets. My phone and 11" tablet charged reliably and quickly. Of course, you can use this to charge other types of devices. While the output is a USB-C, your own cable (one was not included with the model I purchased) would allow you to charge a USB-C to C, B, Lightning or micro product with a 20w or lower power need. It does it's job, quickly and handsomely.

It is great to have because now new phones don't come with the plug and the ones that at least come with a cable are starting to be USB C to USB C, so I had no way to charge my devices before getting this It does exactly what it says it does. It's 3A so it will fast charge. It's a little bulkier than an official apple wall wart but still quite small. However it's heavier than expected, but not uncomfortably. The prongs fold in for more compact transport. They stick out just enough to be easy to open but short enough that they shouldn't catch on something. The finish is a matte so it's less likely to smudge and it also is easy to grip. Don't have to worry about it slipping. Given the space on it, it would have been nice to have 2 ports on it. Seems like there may be some wasted real estate on the face side. Be good to be able to plug two devices into it at once, whether it was 2 USB C or a C and an A. If you don't have shortages of outlets, then you won't care. But with the amount of devices I have, it's good to multi charge.

The Insignia 20W USB charge for iPhone is a great charger for our new iPhone 14's. This is a new charger that I have added to our collection. We have another 18 watt USB-C charger by another brand and I have to say there is a difference in the extra 2 watts. It does actually charge faster than the 18 watt charger when put to the test. There are two differences between these two chargers. The 20 watt charger is slightly bigger - but not by much. It also does not have any lights on it. Which I actually prefer. I don't need any lights on my chargers. I don't like any extra lights in the room when I am trying to sleep - so I like the fact that this does not have any lights on it. Once your phone is plugged in - you know it is working and charging our phone - so there is no reason to know that is has power (unless you have power issues). If you havn't bought an iPhone lately, you will need one of these types of chargers as they no longer work with the USB wall chargers. This is a convenient, fast working charing that is great for iPhones.

New technology and standards many times require new accessories. I find this Insignia 20 Watt USB C Fast Charger to be an ideal charging cube to include in those accessories. Its great for home use as well as easy to pack away for travel without ending the tines of the plug as they fold up into the cube. The iPhones as well as many other devices have moved to USB C connection at the cube end. The iPhone continues to use the lightning connection to the phone itself. Apple does not provide a power cube with the new 14 series of iPhones and if your cellular provider does not provide one for you, it will be up to you to purchase at least one of these power cubes. Of course, with the proper adapter standard USB cords can be used with this 20 watt cube by Insignia. The adapter I speak of is NOT included with this power cube but are readily available and not that expensive at all. The cube itself feels like it is very well constructed and should last a very long time. My past experiences with purchases of Insignia products give me a great deal of confidence in this power cube.

Stylish, compact, does its job, great price and quality. BestBuy iss doing great with this this charger line. I own multiple wattages and versions of these. No issues with any of them. Use it with the Insignia magsafe usb-c charger.

My charging station for my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch would not charge them to 100% when I left them overnight. I purchased the Insignia fast charger and replaced the one the charging station included with their product. This solved the problem.
