Not properly charging so I won’t recommend to anyone

The Insignia™ - 20W USB-C Fast Charger Kit gets the job done. Performance is what you would expect, maybe a tad bit slower for an equivalent 20W USB-C charger. As a rough guide, I put my iPhone on the charge at 50% charge remaining. After an hour it was at 95% charged. It started out at gaining roughly 1% per min but slows down as it got closer to 100%. I think that is pretty typical. Seems a tad bit slower than my other charger, but not to an extent where I would care to notice. I also have not had any issues of my iPhone getting warm off the charger so I am not worried about the off branded charger causing any over heating issues. I have had pretty good luck with Best Buy’s store brand and would not hesitate continuing to use their brand. One positive that I like is the smaller profile on the charger. It is more portable and the prongs fold in which is great for travel. The cable also comes with a Velcro attached to keep it nice and neat for travel or while plugged in. It’s a good value and does the job without any major issues.

Once again Insignia delivers with the 20W USB-C Fast Charger Kit for iPhone 14/13/12/11/X/8 series, iPhone SE. Over the years I have purchased several Insignia chargers for both home and auto. I have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of Insignia BEST Buys, top-tier store brand. Just like this charger, they are always built robustly on the outside with good circuitry inside. All of my INsignia products are still working even after years of use. Therefore I expect nothing less from this Insignia- 20W wall charger with the wonderful fold-away plugs for easy travel and storage. This compact wall charger delivers as promised and charges my devices just as good as the original manufacturers accept it seems to be built more sturdy than the stock one that came with my device. I am very happy with this charger and love the long cord for bedside charging and general ease of use in different situations where you need a long cord. I always like having chargers set up in different places around the house for convenience and to reduce the stress of hunting one down or unplugging and moving the one next to the bed only to forget it in the living room for instance. The performance and long cord make for easy use a fast charge and the ability to use your device while it is charging without issue. For anyone in the market for an extra charger or two even I would definitely recommend the Insignia brand. You always get a top notch product with a fair price. Not only that it comes with all of the built-in safety and protection features so you do not ruin your device. That is something you do not find in cheap convenience store chargers . Never buy a cheap Chinese no-name charger your device deserves better and it is foolish. That means the wiring and circuitry is very robust in this charger with no corners being cut. So whether you need a wall charger a car charger or any other accessory I would definitely recommend the Insignia brand for a piece of mind and free in-store exchange with a one year warranty covering any possible manufacturing defect that may arise. Just make sure you read the user guide and warranty rules and you will be fine. The bottom line buy this charger if you need one like it or another variant depending on your needs or device specifications and start making your life simplified with one less hassle to worry about.

I am an avid Apple user and own an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch. I tend to always have issues with my charging cables breaking or the lightning part getting black marks or scratches that cause them not to work correctly anymore. It feels like I'm always on the hunt for an off brand Apple charger that won't break in two to three months. I own a lot of different insignia brand products as they're always reliable and outlast most other brands. This product includes a charging port that has foldable prongs making it super convenient for travel or on the go, and a six foot cable that has a velcro piece to hold the cord together for easy transporting. The port is about the same size as the standard iPhone charger (not the larger sized fast charger). This one is super convenient as it has a long length giving you more flexibility for charging and not having to be so close to an outlet. It works efficiently and charges my phone in about 20-30 minutes when completely dead. It also works great on the iPad as well as it takes longer to charge and takes maybe an hour for a full charge. The cord is well-wrapped so it seems like it won't have the issue of coming undone and wiring falling out. Overall, well made and a great purchase if you need a reliable fast charger for your products with lightning ports.

This wall charger is small, good for traveling and as a spare or replacement charger for any of your Apple devices that still take the lightning connector. Standard Apple white color with a very sturdy white cable. The connection is USB-C on the charger to Lightning on the end used for iPhone/iPad. The ends of the cable near each connector are reinforced very well, so it should last through a lot of flexing and bending. I charged an iPhone 11 and the latest version of the standard iPad, and it charged both fairly well. This is not a fast charger, it's only 20w, but charged the iPhone in about an hour from very low charge to full. I charged a kid's iPad overnight no problem, but I'm guessing it would probably take 2 to 3 hours to charge the iPad from low to full. The value on this is pretty good, trying to get a decent Lightning cable when traveling can be pretty expensive for what you get. I'm glad that the connection is USB-C. Now that we have mostly moved away from USB Micro on devices, I think its time to move away from USB-A on the charger end of things for portable devices. I only get charger stations with USB-C ports now, so time to move to mostly USB-C to USB-C cables and of course like the cable that comes with this charger, USB-C to Lightning.

I am always a bit skeptical about non-Apple accessories. I know or I should say that I perceive that Apple is not very sharing with their technologies. I would believe that most of the time I will spend the extra money to get an actual Apple cable when the need arises. I will use insignia almost exclusively for anything cables, connectors, or other accessories like bricks, USB cables, or USB-C cables. We have several Apple iPhone models from an eight to the new fourteen pro, one older iPad, and three of last year's air pods. The Insignia -20W USB-C fast charger kit works amazingly on all of them. The fast charger is recognized by all of the devices without issue. the cable is six-foot long, made from a strong feeling rubberish material, and it feels a touch wider than the manufacturers. The OEM is only three so that in itself is a wonderful feature. I ran my phone down to two percent and was fully charged within an hour. Now when you leave the phone plugged in for an extended period of time the IOS will take over to preserve the battery. My experience though in a short burst is that I can get about 30% every 20 minutes. This is without a doubt in my mind the best lighting cable I have ever had from any maker.

These 20W chargers are such a game changer for when your phone needs juice fast! Even with the bigger battery of the iPhone 13, I can go from 8% to 31% in a matter of minutes giving me hours of extra usage. If you have an older iPhone it will juice it up even faster due to the lower capacity. It also works great on my iPad so I love having a multipurpose use for this charger. The cable feels strong and robust, much thicker than others that I have had with previous iPhones or bought online. I know I don’t have to worry about it coming apart from frequent use. The prongs from the outlet plug also fold neatly into the casing for easy storage when traveling. This is also made more convenient by a Velcro strap that comes wrapped around the cable which helps prevent tangles. Six foot length of the cord means I’m not stuck standing next to the wall or outlet while I wait for the phone to charge. It’s especially good for the bedside table where I can tuck the cord out of the way or still use it in bed without having to unplug it.

This Insignia 20Watt USB-C charger includes a 6 ft. cord which has a USB-C and a Lightning connector. It is just perfect! The 20 watt charger not only works for all models of I phone but it will also allow faster charging when used on newer I phones. The compact charger has foldable prongs for travel, and a USB-C connection to the cord. The foldable prongs are very solid and lock in place when opened. Unlike some prongs that immediately fold when you try to insert them, these stay open and work well when inserted into a wall plug. The heavy white cord is extremely well made and even includes a handy Velcro strap for keeping the cord intact while traveling. Additionally, the connectors are securely attached and include nice strain relief moldings at the connector ends. CONCLUSION: I would defiantly recommend this charger/cord to any user. It’s compact, well constructed, reasonably priced, and the 6 ft. length is just about perfect for most situations. I can’t find a single issue with the product.

Nice and compact charger with foldable plug prongs that make it ideal for travel as it doesn't take up much room in my laptop bag. It has a very heavy duty cable and definitely feels much more sturdy than any other charging cable I've used including even those shipped with a device. The 6’ cable length is great for reaching about any plug or using in car to reach the dashboard, etc. I also appreciated that it comes with an attached velco strap to keep the cable tidy while traveling or while charging. It charged my iPhone 13 Pro from 30% battery up to 100% battery in 1 hour and 40 mins. It also worked just fine charging my iPad Air (I just didn't do a length of time charge time with that device). Note that this is a USB-C charger and requires USB-C male cable to connect to it. A USB-C to Lighting cable is included. (If you wanted to use another cable that wasn't USB-C on one end you would need an USB-C to USB adapter etc. if you wanted to other charging cables with the plug adapter.)

The Insignia - 20W USB-C Compact Wall Charger Kit for iPhone is a great, high-quality iPhone charging kit at a very reasonable price. It comes with a 20-watt output wall charger with foldable plugs (which is a nice added design feature) as well as a 6 foot Apple MFi-Certified USB-C to Lightning cable. The cable is not a nylon braided cable but it still feels like a nice, solid cable that should last a long time. I am also very happy with the length at 6 feet long as it is long enough to reach from my charging outlet all the way to my bed with enough slack to still be able to use my phone comfortably while it is plugged in. When it comes to actual charging, it does seem to charge pretty fast and certainly lived up to my expectations. Based on this, I see no reason why anyone should purchase the more expensive Apple-branded chargers and cables when this much cheaper Insignia – 20W USB-C Compact Wall Charger Kit for iPhone does such a great job and as a result, I highly recommend it!

I hate the new USB-C Apple is now using and I wish we would go back to the USB connectors!! The USB-C does not connect in your computes, laptops or cars!!!

The charger charges faster than expected. But due to that the phone dies a little faster lol.

Chords are perfect length and tough and rugged. They're perfect for teenagers
