We’ve only had it a little over a month but this freezer works great. I was disappointed that we couldn’t get the one we wanted but we had a deadline and had to choose a different one. We landed on this one and aren’t sorry at all. Without the handle it was still a 1/2” too wide to go through the doorway of the room it was supposed to be in. So we put it in the den. If it had been an inch deeper it would have been a problem to put it where it is by a door. But we didn’t loose any storage because of its height. Other reviews said it was a surprise how tall it is. But I still was surprised that it was taller than our 6’5” son! I’m 5’8” and can reach everything. It looks so nice it’s okay being there. We don’t have it connected to the internet so I can’t comment on that. Lots of storage. Wire shelves do bow slightly but we have put 500 lbs of beef on them! The controls on the door work easily and show up nicely. Like the chime that sounds when the door is open. The door does seal tight when the door shuts but is easy to open after it finishes it’s seal. Plenty of light to see. Love the cold blast too. Nice freezer and glad it’s the one we ended up with. I’d buy it again.

Stop working not even 3 years, there is anyway to get it fix? Please let me know

I LOVE THIS FRIDGE FOR THE GARAGE. It’s a freezer or a fridge. We buy a cow every couple of years and a 600lb butchered cow fit in this as a freezer only. Barely! But it fit. To have one as just a fridge as well is brilliant as we entertain a lot and always end up with far more food than we expect. It’s a great overflow fridge for beverages, cakes for parties or just extra food in general. I’ve had mine since 2018 and its still as perfect as it was when it was purchased.

I wish I had never bought this unit. The shelves are a major draw back. They will hold very little weight. They start to bend and come out of the holders. We are not talking about a large amount of weight either. Also, it you open the door, to remove some thing, and shut the door. Then remember you need to open it, you can't. You have to wait till it gets back up to the set temperature.

This fridge/freezer started out great; however, it stopped working about 6 years after purchasing and will now go into a landfill :( The repair cost will exceed the cost of replacing. I won't be replacing with an Insignia brand. BTW -- it was originally offered as a smart device but this was disabled by the manufacturer after about 2 years

Piece of junk quit working, and when we launch the app that syncs to the freezer, it says the app was discontinued and I might be eligible for a best buy gift card but gives a website that doesn't work and a phone number that doesn't work. Never again Best Buy!!!
