Great freezer! Huge shelves with lots of room and easy temp control. Has no trouble staying cold on hot days in the garage.

Really nice. Don’t even miss the deli drawer after switching over from an LG. Able to run without a water filter (I have RO line). The pre measured fill is interesting, it’s based on line pressure, but I don’t use it. Giant mugs/bottles are hard to fit in, but not really an issue. I like the drip tray.

Purchased as a replacement to a 13+yo upright freezer. Spent weeks searching and reading reviews as I kept the old freezer limping along. With the understanding that this review is of a mechanical item made by human beings and each person’s experience may vary - I have been very pleased with the my purchase. The price, when comparing this product cuft to cuft with other brands was the best I found. The interior light makes finding things super easy. The digital control and display on the door is a huge improvement over what I previously had. The freezer door also has an excellent seal to the point you can hear the vacuum sound when you close the door. And being an EnergyStar appliance was another plus for this product. We have no intention of ever using this as a refrigerator, so I can not speak to that aspect of this product. I would advise you take the pre-delivery steps seriously. It was a very snug fit getting this item through the exterior interior doors of our home - not a knock on the product, just a reminder that those dimensions are not suggestions. Above all else, I was very pleased with the delivery team. If the delivery team we had is representative of all Best Buy teams, them I would give this company 5+ stars for initial customer service!

Nice and big freezer with minimal noise. High quality product with value.

This is our second Insignia Freezer and it doesnt disappoint. The first Insignia Freezer is still going strong, but our old freezer finally gave out so we opted in a second Insignia. Definitely worth the money as our first one is still going strong for 8+ years.

We’ve only had this for a few weeks but so far we love it. It’s in the garage that we have a small heater in so we’ll see how it does this winter. It’s absolutely huge and the price was great!

Loads of space. This unit is so huge, it is much bigger than we had expected, we emptied our chest freezer into it, which is a larger chest but was packed full, the new freezer holds everything and we still have so much empty space to fill. Its a great price and was in-stock which is a big positive on its own.

I love this fridge/freezer. There is so much space inside of it. Our previous fridge was extremely cramped and you could never find anything but now all of our groceries are organized and easily found. I will be buying another one for my kitchen to replace my chest freezer

Overall, we love it. It's huge, has sturdy shelves, and the safety "beep" feature when left open has saved us from disaster when our kids didn't close the door fully. I will say the door is very hard to open. I appreciate that the seal is strong, but having had 2 carpal tunnel surgeries recently, I can't do it without help.

Our fridge/freezer combo that we used in our garage went out and we needed a new fridge ASAP! Being a family of 6 we definitely need the space. I didn’t need the freezer part as we have a deep freezer so this worked out great. We can set the temp to use only as a fridge and it’s HUGE!! Holds tons of food and is spacious.

Large capacity and simple. No unnecessary buttons ,handles or gadgets to get in the way. And it is an upright model. No hassles digging through frozen food searching. Clean lines and inside storage is very efficient. Love the idea you can switch from freezer to refrigerator. So far happy with purchase.The insignia brand is trusted brand in this home.

Very spacious freezer. Super tall, but fit perfectly where we decided to put it in our storage area. Door does open hard, but have not yet put much in there.

Meet and exceed expectation, I love this freezer, it is quiet and not loud like Kenmore that i have in my basement when it came on. Even though I have it in my garage and the weather is currently cold. I saw review about door too hard to open, I like it this way and is not hard to open, if you open and close, you need to give it about a minute to open it.

It is a great freezer, the convenience of switching to fridge get you peace of mind if you are wondering whether freezer or fridge or both as extra unit. It is spacious and organized, simple to run.

This is the third convertible Insignia I've purchased. All are working perfectly and provide excellent flexibility. My 10 year old Whirlpool traditional fridge died, and I replaced it with this convertible. I needed more freezer space, so I moved my smaller convertible from the garage to the kitchen, converted it into a fridge and made this 21 foot unit a freezer. It's economical and so very useful.

So far so good. Excellent capacity. The Freezer/Refrigerator switch is very convenient. It also comes with a fast freeze function. Haven´t used either this function or the regular freezer. The only critique I have is that the glass shelves are a little thin. Given the size of the refrigerator (and that of the shelves), the glass bends a little when using standard load. I guess it could brake if someone puts a big pot at the middle of a shelf.

We have only had it for about a month and we love it so far. It is larger than the chest freezer we had before and being upright it is so much easier to find what we are looking for.

So far, the freezer is performing as well as expected. We are impressed by the room
