This is a very nice freezer compared to others that we have owned. The control on the front is great, so is the efficiency. I would have liked the door shelves to be a bit wider, or more of them... maybe we will learn to use this space better after we have had the unit for a while. It is very tall, so make sure you have the room for it. If this unit lasts (as we expect it to), we will be considering an Insignia refrigerator to replace our existing fridge in the future. Excellent Value and it will be nice to have some extra freezer space to stock up a bit to make sure we have what we need. The unit seems to be thoughtfully made and good quality. I like the little chime that goes off when you open the door. It also has an alarm that keeps chiming if you forget to close the door all the way after a couple minutes... very handy feature that could save you from melting your ice cream and running up your electric bill.

Avery nice freezer or refrigerator, with easy-to-use controls. Works well, maintains temperatures as indicated on the control panel. The only adverse comment is that the shelves tend to buckle downwards when fully stacked/loaded. The shelves need to be made of a thicker sheet of whatever material they are made of. We don't know if shelves are included in the warranty, and from where replacements can be procured.

Absolutely enjoy the size of the freezer. I bought white wire baskets to help with organization. I haven't used it as a refrigerator but the option is helpful!

We bought two of these. One for a refrigerator and one for use as a freezer. We have had them running for a month and we love them. There is so much room and the temperature button and screens are easy to use and easy to check that temperatures are being maintained.

Very good freezer with a lot of room inside. One thing I would have liked is a couple of more shelves so that the items on each shelf didn't have to be stacked so high.

We have purchased this Insignia Upright Freezer and are very happy how it performs. We use it to keep our cakes and other sweets.

Refrigerator is really and really big one. Bought it for my mom’s birthday and she is happy as a kid. For this money this is probably one of the best option you have!

It took forever to find an appliance that is a fridge only (or freezer) instead of a standard combo. We needed a fridge for our family of 7, not another freezer with a fridge (we already have an upright freezer). This is capable of being a freezer as well, but I wouldn’t die to the glass shelves.

Spacious freezer with more than enough room for our needs. I was impressed with the fact that this upright can also serve as a refrigerator if you should choose to incorporate it as such (front-panel control can be set to refrigerator mode instead of freezer); something to consider if you need a simple garage fridge as this baby has room to spare! We had to transport the freezer ourselves as we do live some distance away from the store and travel involves taking a ferry so the appliance was courtesy loaded into our truck and transported on its side (not upright). As this item is a freezer we were instructed to stand the unit up for a full day before we attempted any installation (we ended up letting it stand for 3-days). Once positioned and plugged in everything has been working wonderfully. The bottom has twist-to-level feet to assure the freezer doesn't wobble. I waited several weeks after installation to write a review to be certain everything is working well and it seems to be just fine. Our unit is set at -1 degree and all items inside are safely frozen with no sign of ice/frost build-up.

Lots of space, cold as you want it to be. Can even work as a fridge. Nothing not to like. Delivery was a breeze and the freezer works as expected. Highly recommended

Absolutely love that we got this. We use it as a freezer for meats and larger items that dont fit in our bottom freezer in the kitchen.

We bought 2 of these to use in our garage. We use one as a freezer and one as a refrigerator. They are very spacious and plenty of room drinks and extra frozen items. The only downside is that I wish they included more shelves. The shelves are spaced so far apart that it seems like they should have included a few more.

We have owned this freezer/refrigerator for over a year. we have used it as a refrigerator and it has functioned perfectly, while keeping a consistent temperature.

My old used one stopped working. I looked at this one and wanted a new one. So far it is working perfectly. Great product.
