Most of the availability dates I found (checking Home Depot, Sam's Club, Costco, Lowe's and others) were out three and four months. From what I could tell, freezer demand went crazy in the spring as people stocked up on meat, etc. to freeze as they hunkered down. The Insignia brand has been good to me for years, so this wasn't a tough decision. In the three months we've had it, not one hint of a problem.

It was always super cold held most of everything I wanted in there but I decided with the family I had, I just needed more space! I had loved the brand so I went looking for another simply bigger and found this one. I’ll admit I had to wait since the pandemic slowed things down it was always out of stock but I’d definitely recommend this brand. My drinks & food are always very cold, the plus side: the whole fridge could become a large freezer if you needed it!

Good freezer-- would like a little more shelving

The only thing is that I wish it had at least one more shelf in it so as not to have to stack up items as much. But overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Please be aware thst when you shut a freezer door it will cause a vacuum to form inside the freezer to maintain a frost free environment. The door will be extremely hard to open if you try to open it again to soon. Grab the top left corner of the door to open to prevent damaging the door handle.
