No more lap

I got it for a new laptop that did not come with a number pad next to the key board. The problem is that I use my laptop as a laptop and I use a track ball mouse with it as well and so I run out of lap for everything. If I need to enter in a lot of numbers, I will use this but I don't do that very often.

Was a no-hassle and simple device to set up with my Macbook as a numeric keypad. My hope is that I can use it to assign various control codes to those specific buttons to use as an independent keypad for use with the Blackmagic video editing suite.

It Functions

It doesn't seem to work well for entering alt codes for certain symbols (° for example), though. I only get it to work on Word, and even then it's hit or miss. Does what I need for the most part.
