No more lap

I got it for a new laptop that did not come with a number pad next to the key board. The problem is that I use my laptop as a laptop and I use a track ball mouse with it as well and so I run out of lap for everything. If I need to enter in a lot of numbers, I will use this but I don't do that very often.

Was a no-hassle and simple device to set up with my Macbook as a numeric keypad. My hope is that I can use it to assign various control codes to those specific buttons to use as an independent keypad for use with the Blackmagic video editing suite.
