This TV would have received a perfect 5 star review from me. However, I had to DEDUCT 1 star for the fact that the built in AMAZON FIRE does not support the Spectrum TV app. I had to purchase a separate ROKU 4K STICK to make the TV fit my needs. TV was the perfect size and fit for a nook in my kitchen. The sound and picture are very nice. Customer support from Insignia was first class and extremely helpful in getting me up and running. Love this TV. If you are looking for a 24 inch TV, look no further. If you are a Spectrum TV customer do yourself a favor and pick up a ROKU stick to make this TV perfect. ROKU seems to have the best streaming experience out there.

One of the best, if not the best, TV sets I've ever owned. Amazing picture, more features than I can count, smarter than I am, easy to set up and an amazing price. I replaced a TV in my motorhome with the Insignia TV and could not be happier.

Very clear picture, beautiful color, truly better than I thought it would be especially not being a Sony or Samsung set. Pleasantly surprised! Fits well on a counter top. Sound is good also. Easy set-up & connection. Pleased overall.

Has a good picture and is made well. Sounds is a little quiet but its no issue for me. Just turn it up. Overall I enjoy my tv and would recommend for anyone looking to fill a spot with a tv or just need a low price tv for your bedroom/desk brightness is good but maybe a little bright when it’s time to sleep. Changing picture setting/adjusting brightness is very simple
5/5 would buy again

Perfect tv for anyone that doesn’t have a lot of space . The smart tv has all you need for entertainment. If you have the internet , you can view many programs for free . I like all the apps available. Nice picture quality also

This is a great little TV for a small bedroom. Returned the cable box, TV will pay for itself in about 18 months. Connected to 5GHz wifi, full 1080 resolution means excellent picture. Yes, it takes a minute to load content such as recent TV stations, but no longer than it takes on my main Fire TV device, so reviews blaming this TV for having a slow chip or little memory are incorrect. Slow load is a Comcast thing. I have 600 MBPS download, so it's not my Internet either. My wife loves this tv, it replaced a 19" 720p Insignia model that wasn't smart. Highly recommended, especially if it's on sale. I'm sure some of the larger screen sizes are good too, but if you're shopping for a really large screen, you should consider name brands like Samsung or Sony.

Perfect for the dorm room. Easy to set up. Easy to connect. Would not want this as a family box but for a small place, it more than does the trick. Picture and sound are clear. Apps cover all the bases. Only used for streaming so I cannot comment on any fiber/satellite setup.

The HD and audio are nice. It is small, which is what we wanted for the space it is in. However, the TV must be controlled by the remote and the two don't seem to talk to each other very well. I don't know if it's the remote or the TV causing the issue. (Yes, the batteries are fresh). Everything seems to take way longer to respond than the other TVs in the house. The TV says the signal is weak, but another TV we tried next to it, along with our phones and tablets indicate the signal is strong in that spot.
If we highlight and click, the TV doesn't always go to what was highlighted. Sometimes pressing the remote button (even repeatedly) does nothing. The program guide shows info for an episode and when you get there, it's a different episode. Sometimes it's a completely different program. Sometimes a program is loading and then it goes back to the guide. Sometimes the "sleep" setting works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the TV turns itself off for no reason.
Overall, it's okay, but often frustrating.

Not So Smart TV

I have this TV mounted over a basement bar and needed it to be network connected only. I figured a Smart TV with the built-in apps was the way to go. The quality of the build, remote and picture is very good for the price. Sound is decent for 24". Where this TV fails is with the built-in apps. Most of them spend a considerable amount of time loading and then buffering while watching the video. Pluto TV and Xfinity Stream are virtually unwatchable. After about 2-3 uses of those apps the data and cache need to be cleared for them to load at all. Both of those apps work without a hitch on my Roku and main Sony Smart TV connected to the same network. Interestingly, the Prime Video app works just fine. Now the "Smart" functionality of this TV is unused and I am streaming exclusively with Roku. Disappointing that this TV didn't live up to what was advertised.

Good Kitchen TV

I bought this tv for my kitchen. It has a nice picture and the sound is good enough for the time that I spend in the kitchen. The tv defaults to Amazon Fire and you have to switch to tv every time you turn it on. The only thing that I don’t like about the tv is Alexa is annoying and you can’t turn her off. She reads out EVERYTHING that you do on the tv. Not sure why Insignia and Amazon thought that was necessary.

Great 1080p TV for the money

Having used this TV for a full month the following represents my assessment:
Pros:
- Great 1080p picture with sufficient brightness, detail and color controls to suit your taste.
- Speedy response using Fire TV graphical interface menus
- Ability to have TV automatically switch to TV mode each time its turned on to avoid Fire TV interface
- Sufficient input/output ports for the average user with HDMI compatible equipment
Cons:
- While I knew this is how it operated before purchase, I do not like the fact that plugging in any device to earphone jack shuts off TV speakers. I prefer to go back and forth between earphone and TV speakers depending upon the sound of the TV program I'm watching without the need to go and unplug the earphone jack.

Needed a small TV for my basement work shop and the size was just right. Has Wired network which I prefer since too much other crap on wireless. All the Apps I use it has and easy to put on home screen. Perfect match for my older receiver. No complaints with picture quality. Just wish legs were closer together or may have center support legs, had to adapt shelf longer, but maybe changing to wall mount so no big deal. Just note legs.

Great TV. It’s got a great picture and sound. Since it’s a Fire TV you can download your apps from the App Store and stream all of your favorite shows. The only drawback is the remote and that’s done by design like I said it’s a Fire TV (Amazon). What I mean is that there are no numbers on the remote so if you want to channel surf it makes it a little harder to do so. But to get around that you can just use Alexa to go to the channel you want.
