Bought this TV for my little boy for Christmas. It stopped working intermittently 7 months after purchase. I was directed to bring it into a Best Buy store (25 minutes away from my home) because it was still under manufacturer’s warranty. They took my son’s TV for weeks and refused a refund, replacement, in store credit, or to have the repaired TV shipped back to me, making me make the long drive back into the store a second time. Any of those options would have been satisfactory, but each one was refused. Insignia is a Best Buy brand, it was a piece of garbage, and Best Buy did nothing to try and resolve the issue in an appropriate way. I’m out time, money, and gas. Will never support Best Buy or Insignia again. If the TV is still dysfunctional upon pickup, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

People on the other end of the house can hear it better than people sitting 10 feet in front of it.

When it's just talk it's fine, but DTS sound makes music and laughter way too loud. It's louder than the dialog itself. It just sounds overly crisp and sharp which is very irritating. Same thing when a commercial comes on, as long as it's talk it's fine, but the music starts and it's blasting. And there's no way to turn it off. I guess I'll try buying a soundbar and see if that helps.

Even though they seemed to be good monitors, but I was expecting a true HD display. These may be HD by definition, but they are not what I consider an HD display. The words were pixelated and fuzzy looking. It looked NOTHING like the picture shown on the pictures on the site. I tried to change all the settings to get it to clear up, but I was not successful. I had to return them, and get other monitors.

The quality is pretty poor as you don't get a very clear picture. It is fine to start off but if you are looking for good quality for graphics than I do not recommend.
