It constantly has an E9 code which means you have to keep hitting the breaker to reset. Forget about getting someone to answer the phone. Nobody does. They dangle you online for hours. The lights on the control panel dimmed and went out and now none of the controls can be activated to use the dishwasher. The light inside the dishwasher goes on big deal all you can view is the inside of the dishwasher. I feel cheated in purchasing this item and very disappointed in this insignia product. I only own it a few years they should seriously give me $ towards a new one.

The control panel is terrible and difficult to figure out. The water inlet leaked and is a bad design. The top shelf is too far down and limits the size of large items that can be placed on the bottom shelf. If the top shelf could adjust up and down that would greatly help. The only positives are it did complete it cycles fairly quickly and appeared to do a good job cleaning the dishes. However, I was still unhappy enough with it to uninstall it and take it back to Best Buy. This is the first appliance I've ever purchased that I've disliked enough to do that. Spend a few more dollars and get a better machine.

Within 2 weeks of purchase and install the dishwasher had unrepairable error codes. Best Buy did replace that dishwasher with a new one (same brand and model). 6 months later had to have new one serviced because of error codes. Had to have technicians out more then once to receive correct parts for that fix. Worked for another 6-8 months and received another error code that is unrepairable. Called my local Best Buy and they would not help (at this point I just want a working dishwasher and would pay out of pocket for a new one with a good discount). Called insignia and they would not help. I have always bought appliances and big ticket electronics from Best Buy and have always been happy. Not this time. Do not buy this dishwasher unless you want an expensive dish drainer.
