After months of unemployment I finally got a job working at home. When I picked up my company computer and monitors, however, I suddenly realized that our router was in the living room! For security reasons we couldn't use wifi, so the search began for a sturdy secure cable. Even though its 100 ft long, it is engineered not to loose too much power/speed given its length. Works just as advertised, receiving advertised speeds minus 3-5 % loss of signal due to length but definitely worth it over wi-fi. Highly recommend if you have to be grounded and directly connected to the modem.

I bought this cable to connect a second router to my Xfinity DOCSIS 3.0 Residential Gateway + Router. Comcast is the Internet carrier in our area and the Xfinity Router had to be connected to the cable coming in to the house in the finished basement level. The signal would not reach the upper main level of the house, (could not access Internet) The cable was the perfect length to run run outside a window in the basement, up and across the exterior of the house, and in through a window in the main level, where I connected an old Cisco router. The cable is very durable and has held up perfectly to the outside elements. It was very easy to conceal, had no kinks or creases in it and now our family can enjoy fast surfing via cable or Wi-Fi throughout our entire house.

It is an Ethernet cable. It's pretty long. Works like it should. Could be cheaper. But if you need an Ethernet cable, this is a good example of one.

You can't go wrong with Insignia. I bought this cable for my PC ethernet connect and have had zero issues with the product. My advice is measure out what you need as far as length and maybe couple this purchase with zip ties to make for better cable management if needed.

So far so good had additional ethernet ports ran in my house so my basement gould have good internet and picked there up to connect from the wall outlets to my sources

Needed CAT 6 Ethernet cable. Best Buy had best length and price for Insignia 14' Ethernet cable. I have no issue with speed and performance. The gray safety tab is a bonus against breakage. I would purchase and recommend this product.

Best of all, it was much less expensive than a comparable cable being sold by a well-known competitor. Best Buy offers high quality products at very competitive prices.
