A very recommended upgrade over the shoddy WiFi built in. Download speeds are consistent and high whilst latency (ping) is lower than that of WiFi (that's a good thing; lower ping is better).

It had minimal packaging, which is important to me for environmental purposes. The availability of various sizes was excellent and it was easy to find in the store. I was able to hook up my printer to my router via this cable.

My wifi can be temperamental with so many people in the same situation. This LONG cable allowed me to have a hardwired connection from pretty much anywhere I want to be in my home.

Once you feel it you’ll know it’s quality, I have two of these to route high quality in line Ethernet all over the home. If you need a long line of Ethernet this is the way to go.

Can't really comment on the overall quality since the device has only a 100 Mbs connection and trickles data at a few kbs, so even the crappiest CAT5 would have done the trick.

The plugs feel sturdy and not cheap. Cat 6 is what is needed if you intend on keeping up with tech as much as possible! Better cable better performance, in most cases.

Went to several places prior to coming to Best Buy. Best Buy was the only store we went to that had the product in stock. It's a little long, but that works just fine.
