Great portable air conditioner. I bought two of this . A little loud but it cools my living room fast. It’s easy to set up.

I just got the Insignia NS-AC06PWH1, and I have to say, I’m blown away! For the price, it’s an absolute steal. Installation was a breeze, and it cools my room faster than I expected. The energy efficiency is impressive too—my electric bill hasn’t even noticed it! It’s sleek, modern, and surprisingly quiet. I can actually sleep peacefully without the annoying humming some ACs make. Honestly, it’s everything I needed: efficient, affordable, and reliable. If you’re looking for a small but powerful AC, this is the one. Highly recommended!

So far so good . Easy to use and setup with slider window. Controls are easy to set. Cools 10 by 14 room with no issues. Unit is not overly noisy.

I love this unit! I have it in a bedroom and it has it super cold in there. Keep in mind i do have blackout blinds in this room that blocks the sunlight. The room stays cool for a few hours after turning the unit off. Have not had to drain the ac since purchasing on June 21 but you can if you want to. It does have condensation in the tank but its not a lot. The noise isn't that bad to me but it is an air conditioner so you have to expect some. It puts me to sleep though so I'm good with it. I will buy this brand again if needed.

Honestly, this is the best AC for a bedroom works so well keep doing so cold easy set up. I love this. This is my second one.

Got this for my grandmother. She, at first, didn't care for the fact that it was not in the window, but she loved how easy it was to install, and how she can still see out the window compared to a normal window air conditioner. My only personal complaints about this product are that the hose is pretty thick, and it did not come with anything to keep things from going inside the hose from outside. But a screen fixed that issue for me. Also a little warning, it is a little heavier, but is on wheels.

I purchased two of these air conditioners for my apartment. They have been working wonders on keeping it cool on the extra hot days. Every once and awhile, one of them will start pulsing as though its revving it's engine; simply turning it off and back on again seems to alleviate this.

I am a senior citizen who lives alone and wanted to replace my old window air conditioner in my bedroom to a more energy efficient one. I decided on this model because of it was the right size, energy efficient, had a remote, and was reasonably priced. Also I am able to take the hose in and out of the window myself. It cools quickly and is relatively quiet. When in use, it replaces my sound machine. The best feature for me is the remote. I can turn it on and off or adjust the temperature without getting out of bed. I've only had it for a month but so far, I love it.

As a single mom just getting out of shelter, I was blessed moving into my first apartment with my 4 year old son/ its been so hot i needed something that was affordable and amazing thank you best buy and insignia for making this wonderful air conditioner i recommend this product to anyone who really cant afford much its amazing.

Its everything and then some im so gkad i finally got a ac for my room it was so hot and this thing makes life that much better again . I think i want to actually buy another one for my mom i want to make her comfortable we have central ac but it still gets so dang hot in my bedroom and i definitely needed one now my mom likes mine and wants one lol so like a good son should do i will .

I really like this air conditioner! Its user friendly and cools down pretty quickly. The remote just makes it that much easier that if it gets too cold, which it does, you can easily turn it up in temperature. Its very easy to setup and the panels were long enough to fully cover my sideways sliding windows which was awesome! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

I think it is a fair price for what I paid. I have it in a room approximately 190 sq.ft. and it cools the room thoroughly and quickly. However, I don't know if this is a setting on the machine, or if I have a faulty unit, but it will randomly shut off for a few seconds and then turn back on. Maybe this is because it is designed to not overcool the space and shuts off momentarily once it reaches the set temp? I don't know, but I use the white noise to sleep, and somehow I wake up in the middle of the night when it shuts off then turns back on. I have to have an additional fan in my room to keep the noise constant now. Also, the remote is hit or miss. I put the brand new batteries that came with the unit in the remote, and I have maybe had it for 2 months now, and most times the unit is unresponsive when I hit the buttons on the remote. Both are maybe 5 ft away from each other and the most. For the price I paid, I am satisfied enough.

It cools my bedroom good! It doesnt take up much space. It is not major loud.

I received the portable air conditioner quickly and it works great. However, when I was assembling it, a part (unit adapter) was missing from the parts pack. The unit is an "open box- excellent" purchase from the website. I found the unit adapter already installed on the unit with one of the three hose retaining tabs broken off. I positioned the hose so that tension would hold it on firmly. I kind of forgot about it until I got a request for a review. I called customer service and was told that I would have box up the entire unit and ship it back to Best Buy. The broken part is a plastic ring, about 6 inches in diameter and about 2 inches thick. I'm happy with the product and would have given 5 stars, but I'm not going to box it back up and ship it back. It makes no sense. Send me the part and I'll edit my review to 5 stars.

This AC unit cools my son’s room quickly and efficiently! The temperature controls, sleek style and various settings are a plus. The installation to the window was well designed and super easy to install. The summer months get quite hot here in LA but that is no longer an issue. Great deal and quality for the price.

Easy to install. Great manual! Easy to read and plenty of information. Gets very cold. Even has a dehumidifier. Lots of great features, including but not limited, to fan, timer, sleep mode. Can turn off LED for night time use. Tons of other features. I Love it!!!!

Great for smaller rooms easy install didn’t have a issue setting up on my own

I bought this last May 19, 2021. Summer is fast approaching and it’s getting warmer. It’s easy to install however quite heavy. Easy to operate and cools my room just in 2 minutes.

Great bang for your buck, very portable easy to use. Just plug in and run blows cold air.

I tried Frigidaire, I tried Toshiba and I tried Midea and this Insignia portable AC has beat them all. I was looking for a portable AC that would have continuous fan for our bedroom. Unlike the living room or the office, a continuous fan noise is important because I am the light sleeper. Most all manufacturers do not allow for this. They all shut down the fan when the set temperature is acquired. Can you imagine white noise in your bedroom that turns off and back on off and back on off and back on. Insignia has a setting for Continuous fan! Yay my search is over. I believe the Insignia portable air conditioner is more quiet than others I tried. I also love the feature called Follow Me. By selecting follow me my Insignia will try to match the temperature where the remote is laid. How cool is that! Installation was easier than most portable air conditioners. The window piece fit nicely without air gaps showing. No tools necessary unless you want to use a few unnecessary screws. I did not. I have thought of the Insignia brand as an economy brand and so I bought Best Buy's extended warranty out to 4 years. For the reasons I mentioned and other reasons as well... I prefer this little Insignia which I purchased for $279.
