I had to scrap my old AC because it was producing BUCKETS of water. This ac does not produce anything because the moisture that does collect is circulated to the condenser and evaporates making my life easier! It is way quieter than my old GE ac and it cools my childs 265 sq ft room very well! It is quiet enough to not wake my toddle uo each time the motor kicks on! 5/5 would recommend!

I was able to buy this unit on sale for 199.99, and paying 29.99 for a two-year warranty seemed like a no brainer.. I use this in my bedroom which is about 15x10ftsq.. The unit perfectly fine has a nice remote and many features, they were also nice enough to send sealing tape and tons of parts.. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend this unit.

Works great only issue I have it came with missing parts for the window.

I have had this Insignia ac unit for about 40 days and I used it at least 30 of those days for an average of 7 hrs a day. First time using a unit like this. I was worried from the reviews it gave it a shot. Wish I hadn’t. Positives: 1. It cooled my standard size bedroom (in a 1 bd apt) with ease. Negatives: 1. The return policy is lunacy! I wouldn’t have purchased if I took notice of that. I want to return it. 2. There is a burning smell & fog-like smoke that happens throughout the apt everytime I turn it on. It didn’t happen right away and took me a week to figure out it was the unit. 3. It’s rather loud. Definitely don’t want it near you if you are a light sleeper. 4. I love a remote, but this one is useless in the dark. Buttons do not light up. Neutral: Setup wasn’t hard, but my window wasn’t as “normal” as I thought. I had no way to get the window piece stable & the padding provided (sticky substance) damaged the window seal/frame. Could be user error but I ended up rigging it with packing tape.

A great room cooler to knock some heat out of your room. Don’t expect it to get it freezing cool but it serves it purpose.

It is loud but it gets the job done! Set-up was easy and the manual is straight to the point so install wasn’t a challenge. Although it’s pretty loud, I’d rather have noise than a heat stroke! Lol

This was everything I needed, low on volume, easy to control, fast at cooling down and easy to clean.

Blows cold. Take up space in whatever area you put it in. Easy assemble.

Works well, cools room super fast. A little loud on high but to be expected with portable air conditioner.

It will get you buy in the meantime combine this with a good fan and its all good

Honestly, this little guy can do a lot more than 250 square feet if you have ceiling fans. It cools my living room and kitchen easily. I love that it has a temperature setting on it so it doesn’t waste electricity like our old window unit did.

Yes! This unit—scratch that—these units work great! (We came back the next day and purchased a second unit.) Simple to install - but do plan ahead on how to vent out the hotter air!

I ordered this unit online and expected it a week from my order date based the posted timeline on Best Buy’s website. But to my surprise, it was delivered the next day. Upon receiving the unit from UPS I was disappointed to see the box in such terrible condition. It looked pretty beat up with multiple holes and tears in the cardboard. This made me uncertain if the unit was going to be in good condition. So I opened the box and hoped for the best. To my surprise, the unit was in good shape overall, however, the power cord had a bunch of black scuffs on it and I also noticed some additional scuffs on the inside of the unit. I read reviews prior to purchasing this unit that reported the same issue. I can only speculate, but in my opinion I received a refurbished unit. Even though it was sold to me as “Brand New.” Other than that, the unit functions flawlessly, cools my large room very fast and hasn’t let me down yet. I do wish the connection for the hose on the back of the unit was sealed better. I noticed it lets out some hot air but this doesn’t seem to be an issue. For the price, quality and performance, it can’t be beat. Not to mention, I was also able to purchase a 4 year warranty which gives me peace of mind. So overall, I’m satisfied.

Works great! keeps my room nice and cool during the hot summer days. it is a ranges around 60 db when its on. It can cool my 9 by 12 room to 65 degrees in about 5 minutes! overall great buy
