I love it I actually have it on as I type! It’s so Comfy and runs great.

It cools, but not enough in 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Leaves room at room temperature with full blast. Not worth $300. Extremely heavy to carry up stairways. Loud motor too on cold mode. Will never buy again.

Needed something to take the edge off downstairs on hot days. This Insignia does the trick quite nicely. I leave on cool/low and in 10 minutes (with a small fan on low across the room) it works wonders. I don't have a window or a fireplace (both sealed) so i have to crack the door for now for hose vent. But even with that it works fine! On low...its reasonably quiet and the noise it does put out is even and smoothe. No complaints. Glad I bought this unit.

It’s perfect It cools so fast even on big spaces.

I picked this up when it went on sale in the deal of the day and was so pleased with it, we bought a second one for our back bedroom. It has several settings (auto, fan, cool, etc) and the installation was easy and instructions were great. It also comes with a remote but also has all of the buttons on top of the unit also for convenience.

Portable indeed! Can be moved anywhere will easily by 1 person Works like it should.

The unit itself works well. Cool my office nicely and was easy to set up on my own. My issue is the condition it was in when I got it. The unit was COVERED in pet hair. Who ever had it before had a long haired dog because the filter was fully it. The panel that goes in the window was cracked and scratched as well. They advertised the unit in excellent condition but it was good at best. I’ve gotten a lot of open box things from here but this the worst.

Working perfectly fine so far ! Haven’t been really testing it out as much as I want to because the weather hasnt been too hot outside at all lately so I rarely use it , but I will go ahead and give an updated review once it is used more forsure

Inwas skeptical about if this would mange my room cold enough, spoiler alert, it does, i don't want to leave my room when i have it on because it just feels so good in my cold room

I love everything about this product it work soooo good keeps my upstairs cool especially because the last few weeks have been really hot . I didn’t think this little air conditioner unit would do the job . But it does I’m so happy i made this purchase. Almost forgot it come wit a remote

Product cools my whole entire home i love the functions and cool features included. One of whoch is find me where the remote will be in one location (hottest area) and of course unit in another and will cool that area down to the set temp desired makimg sure no area of the home goes with cool breeze

I purchased this Insignia 250 sq ft portable air conditioner as an open box. Because the price was so good, i ignored the reviews. Read those reviews they are telling the truth. This thing STINKS like musty socks and an electrical fire in the making. The overall presentation is nice. It does indeed blow very artic cold air. However, the chemical odor while running is a concern to myself and my familys health as god knows what chemical it creates in the home. For any of you customers checking out the open box items or even a brand new, this is hazardous.

There is nothing wrong with this ac except that it is based on a flawed concept. It is set up to take in room air and exhaust hot air outside thru its exhaust tube and cool air back into the room thru its top vent. By doing tis it is creating a negative air pressure in the closed off room that gets refilled thru the gap at the bottom of our door, pulling 80 degree air to mix with the cooled air. I have rigged another 6 inch tube to the intake and blocked the gap below our door so that the exhaust air is replaced by out side air and hopefully not mixed with the cooled air. All done with a bunch of zip-ties and duct tape.

Overall really liked how it performed and it kept my room cold, would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable ac!!!

The unit worked well however at our apartment in NYC the windows only open a slight bit and barely fit the exhaust. There wasn’t a way to seal off the entire rest of the window to keep the heat out. Very inefficient in our apartment but cooled quickly.

This was absolutely fantastic! I have loved it so much and it cools my whole bedroom so quick! I would purchase this again In a heartbeat
