The Fridge appears to working as expected. Lots of reviewers talked about receiving damaged products and more recently many spoke about the improved packaging that prevented such damage. Ours was damaged in the upper right hand corner. I e-mailed about it but received no response. Had to buy black electrical tape to fix the top corner. Otherwise, the Best Buy process of ordering the product and having it delivered to my daughter's college town worked flawlessly. We were able to get in and out of the store within 5 minutes. Disappointed by the damage but doesn't effect how the fridge works.

This refrigerator/freezer was the perfect size for my son’s dorm room. Within college’s permissible specifications. While I would definitely recommend this refrigerator/freezer, I would suggest that you open the box and inspect contents immediately upon receipt. We waited until we placed the box in the dorm before opening it and when we did, were completely surprised by the huge dent on the freezer door. We were not bringing it back home to return. Too late. Reported it to customer service but never got a response back.

the product is very well designed for a small compact fridge. It is compact yet has a fair amount of space. Perfect for college.

Item arrived dented on door and rear. So customer service refunded 10% of my order. Otherwise nice mini fridge for the price. Larger than I anticipated. Works just fine in the 2 months I've owned it

Was very excited to order this product because it was the right size for trig and freezer for a college dorm room. Looks great except for 1 thing. When we brought it to college, we left it in the room and our son opened after we left. There is a HUGE dent on the freezer door. He didn't say anything about it because he thought we bought a used product. Two months later, we go to visit and see the huge dent. He thought we knew. We did not. Not sure at this point if anything can be done. I called but was told that he would have to call to schedule appt for someone to come out. Not sure what to do except use it as is. But would really rather have a new freezer door sent to replace damaged one. Just extremely disappointed because we expected a product without dents or blemishes. I would still recommend this product but would also recommend that you open immediately upon receipt!!

This fridge is a perfect size for the average dorm room. This unit is quiet, has tons of space, and features two doors instead of a single door. I have purchased other units before this one but it was not as nice as this fridge. I have had this unit for over a month and have had no issues. Having two doors on this unit is a plus because it prevents the freezer compartment from icing up, like other single door units. As a student I am always on the go so the freezer on this unit is the perfect place for frozen dinners. This unit is great for storing milk, protein shakes, yogurt, and fresh produce. Another plus for this unit would be that it’s super quiet and is barely noticeable when I watch TV, or study. The one thing I wish I could improve on this unit would be how cold I can get it. It has great temperature control but I like to keep my groceries extra cold, hence only four stars. Given the choice I would purchase this fridge unit again in a heartbeat. This is the perfect fridge for the price, size, and quality. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice Fridge. Quiet. Love the separate freezer that does not ice up and its more like cold air that keeps it cool vs. ice/thaw/defrost/carry out water/ that's nice feature. its big and it was cheap $100 on sale + tax + FREE 2 DAY SHIP. SWEET!

I was somewhat hesitant to buy this due to some reviews noting the frig was dented upon delivery. I went ahead anyway since it was on sale for half price (only $99.99) and figured I could return it to store if it shipped with dents. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived in PERFECT condition, not even the tiniest dent or scratch anywhere. We plugged it in our laundry room to test it out before our son leaves for college in a month. It works perfectly. The freezer compartment is extra nice. Lots of space and will hold everything a typical college student will need. I highly recommend this. Runs quietly, looks great, convenient size for dorm room, big enough to hold everything.

Really nice fridge! Bought this for my son's dorm room. Quiet, spacious and he loves the separate freezer. Huge upgrade over the single fridge/freezer units as this is a self defroster so there is no chipping your frozen goods out of the ice. Freezer is a good size and keeps ice cream frozen. Just be sure to check the unit as we had to return the first due to dents. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Purchased to replace a failing full-size refrigerator. Very pleased with this choice. Perfect size for single person household. Little more spacious than most mini-fridges plus includes full, seperate freezer (not just a freezer box in the fridge). Runs quietly, keeps cold, uses less electric than previous one. User manual notes that freezer may require regular defrosting but no problems yet. A very good purchase, highly recommend this product.

I teach school. I had a smaller refrigerator for many years. I chose this one for 2 reasons...it was larger and it had a separate freezer compartment. I LOVE THE FREEZER! I keep popsicles in there for my students to use as rewards. The refrigerator holds plenty of canned drinks, bottles of water, snacks, fruit, etc. I load at the beginning of the week and don't have to remember to bring things each day. It works great for my purposes as a teacher. (And I only paid $99 for it - that was the BEST part overall!)

I measured with a thermometer, and unit cools well. The "4" setting, as they state in the manual, is appropriate for regular use (keeps the fridge compartment at <40deg F, which is the recommended setting for food safety). The separate freezer compartment was my primary reason for getting this fridge, and it works well. Much like the 4.3cu-ft Insignia fridge that has a lot of reviews about units arriving damaged, my unit came with damage on the side that, based on the intact condition of the shipping box and styrofoam packaging, appeared to have occurred before shipping (poor QC it seems). I decided to go with the 3.0cu-ft this time, because there were a lot less reviews complaining about damage compared to the 4.3cu-ft one. Guess I didn't get lucky. And although smaller, this fridge is actually less energy-efficient than it's 4.3cu-ft cousin. But both are Energy-star rated. The advertising says this is 3.0 cu-ft while the manual says it is 3.1cu-ft, with most competitor offerings in the 3.1-3.3cu ft range. So I'd say it's slightly smaller than the others, but I doubt anyone can actually tell the difference. They pretty much look all the same on the inside. Compressor has a buzzing sound to it that makes it a lot more annoying than that of my old GE compact fridge, which emits more of a hum. Yes, my fridge is level. So I'd say it isn't appropriate if you're sticking this fridge in your bedroom (e.g. dorm room) and have sensitive hearing - at least I wouldn't be able to sleep with it nearby. Overall, I'm satisfied with the unit and can accept the flaws given that it was less expensive on sale than all the other comparable units I looked at.

Bought this mini fridge for my college son and he loves it. Love the separate door for the freezer. Most mini refrigerators don't have a separate door like that. Plenty of room for what ever he needs. Freezer fits three 59 oz containers of OJ. Plus more like bags of pizza rolls. What every college student needs. Packaging was good no dents. Fridge is quiet. It's a year old now and have had no problems.

I bought this out from the middle of nowhere, and I did not even need a new mini fridge. But, thanks to the Deals of the Day, the price was slashed in half for one day, and I bought it. And MAN, do I LOVE this fridge!!! it is way bigger than I anticipated, and I am so happy that it has a working freezer. In fact, it works a little too well... I also like the two-tone of the silver and black, as it blends in well with any surroundings. And, the bottom part has a light to be able to see the inner contents better. One of the shelves inside is removable for extra space, and it has so many other features. Now, this thing is mine until it dies or until I die, whichever comes first.

We needed a dorm size fridge. This one holds a lot enemy's in the separate freezer section. The price was right too. We bought it for less than the college charged last year to rent (they required renting from their vendor in the dorm).

Perfect fridge for my 6 year old son in his room. Super icy cool freezer built on the top separate from the bottom just like a normal regular kitchen fridge. Worth every penny. Highly recommended if in the market for a personal fridge.

This is great for a small office. The upper freezer works great and the bottom keeps my drinks perfect. The soda can holder is the only thing that kind of stinks. Other than that, it is overall great product.
