What I don't like is that it started to build ice in the back of the refrigerator compartment and not in the freezer compartment like you would expect. The manufacturer was expecting some kind of ice build up because the refrigerator came with a small scraper.

No one would call this quiet. It makes an unpleasant buzzing sound, starting out very loud. I also purchased the Insignia Mini Fridge with Glass door, and it also makes this unpleasant buzzing sound. So why do they both get reviews of 'quiet'? My guess is that Insignia went cheap on some elements recently and they no longer are quiet. For sound sensitive people, the Insignia is not the fridge for you. Neither of these mini fridges can be near a wall, they have to be at least 5"s from the wall on both sides and 3" on the back. Also, they run quite warm. They cannot be on a rug. On the plus side, both mini fridges look very nice and have very nice layouts. They would be perfect if they made a white noise hum instead of the obnoxious buzz.

We had to drive it across the country and unfortunately when we opened it, it had two dents on it. For obvious reasons we couldn't return it nor did we have the time, she needed something up and running right away. The freezer to this unit is a nice size, however, because of this it makes the refrigerated section undesirably small. Additionally, when the fridge is at maximum capacity it struggles to stay cold which requires you to constantly adjust the thermostat. If we were closer to home we would likely be returning this item.
