The cable seems to be well built and I can't hear any issues with the audio coming through. If you're purchasing this to plug a switch into the 3.5mm ports into your desktop you'll need a Ground Loop Isolator to eliminate the buzz. It's not a problem with the cable itself that is causing audio issues.

Gets the Job Done

I bought this for when I drive my girlfriend's car, so that I can listen to music off of my phone as I do so, instead of having to suffer through what's on the radio. The cable does exactly what it should. I connect one end to the radio, the other end to my phone, and the music I play on my phone comes through the car's speakers! Voila!
