Needed a new Fridge for garage. Old one still worked but I thought it was using too much electricity. This new one doesn’t have a freezer which I don’t need. More usable space, a very useful inside light and is much quieter than old one. Alls good so far.

Dirty fridge with food still inside!

I bought this mini fridge online as an excellent open box condition. It was nicely wrapped and when I brought it to work, you can imagine my shock to find that there was food still inside. When this item was returned, no one checked the inside? To makes matters worse Best Buy would not refund any of the money which it's what I was asking for as I had paid for an open box excellent condition item and not a dirty, food still inside fridge. I chatted online with a customer rep who told me he couldn't help and to go to the store. I went to the store and they said they couldn't help me to call the 800 number. The 800 number rep said they couldn't help me and to go back to the store and return the item. To return the item is too much of a hassle as I had to carry it several flights of stairs by myself so I ended up keeping it but Best Buy needs to do better .

It gets noisy at times if you are around it enough in a bedroom setting you may or may not notice. It’s not awful and after six months it’s still doing its job.

Great Little Fridge for the Price!

The Insignia 3.3 cu/ft refrigerator is a great little fridge that is the perfect size for home offices to man caves to everything in between that you could need a mini fridge for. Its classy looking with a clean aesthetic and enough shelves that you can fit your favorite mix of drinks and snacks inside. The fridge is a gloss black that blends with more any modern décor and has a door that comes mounted on the right side but can be mounted on the left if you prefer. The compressor and motor are very quiet and unless I’m really paying attention I cant hear it over our gaming computers and their cooling fans. Inside it comes with 3 main shelves that can be removed and 3 door cubbies that can be removed or rearranged. If I had to list a down side with its interior its that in order to fit 2 liter bottles of soda or a gallon of milk you have to remove at least one self as there is no way to fold them out of the way, but that is really just down to the size of this fridge. For things most people use a mini fridge for there is plenty of space for multiple 12 packs of soda or beer or even some wine bottle is you prefer. The one thing I don’t really care for is the light. Its an integrated LED that is not user replaceable. Realistically you’ll never have any problems but if you do you have to have it fixed by a professional. It is also rather dim and if you put anything next to it it will completely block the light. And at night its no better. It has a temperature adjustment next to the light that lets you adjust from sorta cold to almost freezer like. I have found the “recommended” setting to be the best place to put it so far. Drinks are really cool and it doesn’t seem to have any problems cooling everything even when its stuffed to the max. Insignia really has stepped up their game in quality over the last few years and it shows with this product. For $200 this fridge is a great little addition to any room you need handy access to drinks and snacks quick.

I was excited to get this micro fridge as a reviewer because I needed something to use for my goat ranch lab. the fridge was delivered to the door and I was a bit nervous about possible shipping damage, but it was so well packed with rigid foam on all six sides that it came in perfect condition! the box is therefore much bigger than the fridge. to upack it, cut all of the straps that are holding it together, then slide the top and sides upward. This will leave the fridge sitting on a foam base. Now, this is just a fridge and does not have a freezer compartment. the glass shelves make it easy to segregate items from one another while still being able to view them. the door shelves are perfect for storing bottles or cans. The fridge came down to proper temperature in a few hours. Plulg it in and make sure to let it get to temp before you add items. As a ranch office fridge, I will be using it to store medicines, bio samples and cold drinks. with the many shelves, we can keep all of these things separate and cool. I can see this being an ideal office fridge, or perfect for using on an outside porch to store cool beverages! Finally, like a regular kitchen fridge, you can change the 'swing' on the door from right to left, depending on what suits your needs and space limitations. It's an easy task to unscrew the top hinge (shown in picture), take off the door, unscrew bottom hinge, replace on other side, install door and top hinge!

This is an excellent affordable small fridge and great for storing drinks and snacks and things at home or in your office if there's space. It's a great size - not too deep and not too wide so that it can fit into a small area but still give you quite a good amount of space inside for lots of drinks and things. It's also not too heavy so fairly easy to move and get it exactly where you want it. I love that the door hinge can be moved to the other side if necessary which gives you even more options for placement. The fridge does a good job of keeping everything cold and has a perfectly adequate range of temperatures. For most people the suggested "middle" setting will be just fine, though for those who like their drinks extra cold, it's nice that it also supports a higher/colder setting as well. It is fairly quiet, and while it is not completely noiseless, it makes less noise than the air purifier we have in the same room so nothing that is going to disturb or annoy you. Everything was packaged great for shipping - it was packaged to make sure it stayed safe, but also to make it as easy as possible to get it ready for use which I appreciate. The shelves are great and a shelf can be easily removed if you want to store taller things on one of them. Overall, just an excellent affordable small refrigerator to supplement a larger freezer/fridge.

I paid for a brand new fridge supposedly but they gave me a fridge from “open box” which cost less. I waited for 24 hours before turning it on and unfortunately the fridge does not get cold. I reached out to customer service which i felt like they really don’t want to acknowledge their mistake! Before i used to like buying at bestbuy but i guess this time their business sucks!

This is a small refrigerator, similar to the kind you often see in hotel rooms, if perhaps just slightly larger than those. It has four main shelves and three narrower shelves on the door. There is no freezer. It fits nicely into a corner of our garage right next to the door to the kitchen, which makes it very handy to store extra food that we might have on hand for a party or something similar. There’s food in ours right now because we have a holiday barbecue coming up this weekend with family and friends coming over. This refrigerator is sleek in design and looks good. There is no real setup other than cutting away the shipping box, removing some tape that held the shelves and door in place during shipment, and plugging it in. The manual actually suggests letting the refrigerator sit for four hours before plugging it in for the first time to allow the refrigerant to properly distribute itself in case the refrigerator spent any time in some position other than upright during shipment. We did this. Setting the temperature is easy with a knob on the inside, and there is a “recommended” position about half way between the highest and lowest settings. We keep the setting there, and the food is kept plenty cold. We’re very pleased with it.

    Quiet and Lots of Space

The Insignia 3.3 Cubic Foot refrigerator came strapped into a sturdy box and was snugly packed to avoid any damage. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get it out of the box but my husband had the idea to cut the box bottom about 2 inches above the ground and then remove the sides. That worked perfectly. The top and sides are a textured finish that doesn’t appear to be fingerprint resistant. There are fingerprints on it now from unwrapping it. This refrigerator is intended to be used inside and not in a garage or anywhere the temperature might get below 55 or above 110 degrees F. The back is flat and the refrigerator could theoretically fit flush against a wall. However, the instructions say to leave 3 inches of space between it and the wall and 4 inches on the sides and top. The door is reversible. It has 3 plastic door shelves. The item description says the shelves will hold “up to” 18 12 ounce cans but I could only fit 15 cans (5 per shelf). The top and bottom shelves have short walls and are suitable for a drink can or shorter. They are wide enough to hold a carton of eggs. A half gallon of milk or a 32 ounce bottle of creamer will fit on the middle door shelf. The LED light and the white interior make it easy to see the contents. There is no freezer to defrost or take up extra space. There are 3 fixed glass shelves and a narrow bottom plastic shelf. The third shelf down is half plastic and half glass. The bottom storage area is very narrow due to the motor on the outside and the door shelf on the inside, but is wide enough for something the size of a 19 oz can of soup. There is ample room in the refrigerator to store leftovers, snacks or a small amount of groceries. Once plugged in, it quickly reached the warmest temperature setting of 50 degrees F. When the dial was moved to the coldest setting it took a couple of hours to reach 32 degrees F. When set at the recommended temperature (38 - 40 degrees F) it holds the temperature in a 70 degree F house and only comes on every couple of hours. My experience with this size refrigerator is at motels, where the noise can keep me awake at night. I either turn them off or unplug them. The Insignia refrigerator has a faint hum but is relatively quiet. It might bother me if I was sleeping in the same room with it, but it isn’t loud enough to be noticeable otherwise. My only concern with this refrigerator is the roll bond evaporator on the inside back panel that is icy and frozen - even when an internal thermometer reads 38 - 40 degrees F. A small amount of water has gathered at the back of the third shelf from the melting ice but there is a ridge that keeps the water off the shelf and a small drain hole that seems to be handling the water. It seems likely that items stored at the back of the fridge could freeze and it would be prudent to leave some space. Due to the design of the evaporator, the refrigerator will need to be defrosted periodically when the ice builds up. This was a surprise because I expect to have to defrost a freezer, but not a refrigerator. But that’s a small inconvenience and the quietness and the roominess of the refrigerator make it a worthwhile purchase.

Works very well for a mini fridge in our basement. We tend to not drink soda so it’s nice to have a mini fridge with shelves on the door instead of the usual soda can racks. Thumbs up on eliminating the ice box because realistically only 1 popsicle would even fit in one for any fridge this size. I can actually fit lots in this mini fridge and all the shelves are nice and sturdy. Works and runs very well.

Insignia as a brand has gone up the last few years to be a major competitor in whatever product they come out with. They make good quality products. Today I am reviewing Insignia’s 3.3Cu Ft Compact refrigerator, as someone who already owns an Insignia midsize refrigerator, I was already a fan. This compact refrigerator does not have all the bells and whistles that a more expensive refrigerator might have, but it does one thing great, and that is it cools your beverages and other small groceries you put in it. Now at 3.3Cu Ft, this refrigerator is not very big, it’s not supposed to replace your full-size refrigerator that you may or may not already have in your home. Instead, this is perfect for filling it up with beverages and small grocerie items as a secondary refrigerator, or maybe just to have in a dorm room if space is lacking. Though this compact refrigerator doesn’t have a lot of features, it does have an internal light and a knob where you can control how cold you want to make it. The only negative thing I have to say about this refrigerator is that it isn’t very customizable, though you can remove shelves, you cannot make them go up or down, if something doesn’t fit, standing up, you have to put it on its side or find other ways to make use of the space. I’m using it as a secondary refrigerator to my main refrigerator and stuffing it with my favorite drinks. So far so good.

I couldn’t be happier with this mini fridge I purchased from Best Buy! I live in a small apartment, and this little gem has made a huge difference. It's compact but surprisingly spacious inside — I can easily fit all the essentials: drinks, snacks, leftovers, and even a few frozen items. The cooling is super efficient, and it runs quietly, which was a big deal for me since my bedroom doubles as my office space. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great in my room. The shelves inside are adjustable, so I can customize the layout to fit taller bottles or larger items, which is a nice touch. The freezer compartment is small but functional — perfect for a few ice packs or frozen dinners. Another bonus: It’s energy-efficient! I’ve noticed no major increase in my electricity bill, which was a concern at first. The fridge doesn’t heat up the room either, which is something I’ve experienced with other mini fridges before. I also have to give props to Best Buy for the fast delivery and excellent customer service. The fridge arrived well-packed, and setting it up was a breeze. Highly recommend this mini fridge if you need something reliable, affordable, and stylish for a smaller space. It really exceeded my expectations!

Love my little fridge. No, it doesn't have a freezer part, but how often do I use that at work? Never. It makes for more space for employee lunches and sodas. It also has easily removable shelves for taller items.
