Great little fridge!! I was looking for an office fridge, something small and not tacky looking. Light weight and quiet. And I found it! This weighs a whopping 37lbs which means my 57 year old self had no problem carrying it. Once set up it looks sleek and non-intrusive. And quiet. The adjustable shelves allow instant adjustments for any situation- daily lunch or office party! The setting was preset to was not cold enough so I was able to change it without having to guess -dial is up front and easy to read. The only complaint I have is that there is no freezer section. Not sure if I need it for my office, but if I ever bring it home... There is not really much to say about a fridge- its nice, clean lines, light weight, and very handy to have. Recommended for any use in any place. The Insignia brand has been good for me since I have been using it for years. This is my first fridge however, and the reviews have been positive so far. Being Best Buys store brand, it has my trust.

First things first, this a great little fridge it was out of the box, installed, cooled down and had 24 sodas cold in less than 45 minutes. And it is very quiet. The fridge only (no ice box) was a huge plus for me as I don't need the freezer and don't like cleaning up ice chunks and frost. So, I have to say it was everything that I wanted and I would recommend it. Now for more detail... The refrigerator shipped in an easy to remove two section box that sped up the process of getting it unpacked and installed. The refrigerator is about the height of a 3 shelf bookcase so it slid easily under the counter top and even on recommended setting, was cooled down quickly and quietly. The refrigerator holds 24 x 12 oz cans easily with additional room to spare. The glass shelves are preset distances, and there is additional room on the shelves for taller 16 oz cans or bottles also. To be fair and honest, the extra space makes it easier to see what you are grabbing and probably helps with air flow to keep everything cool also. There are (or should be) two adjustable 'feet' to help raise the front of the refrigerator such that it can clear carpeting when it is opened. The unit I received was missing one of these 'feet' but in my situation this wasn't a problem. I'd suggest if you need the front of the unit raised up, to use the feet, Even with one, it was more than sufficient to raise the corner enough for low pile carpet. The 'cooler/recommended/off' decal on the temperature adjustment knob was either printed upside down or designed for a unit where the knob was on the other side. It works fine, and realistically, you set the thing maybe once and might shut it off and back on again a few times a year so no sweat there. I would say just make sure you try it both directions to figure out which location is OFF and which is coolest. Again, this a great little fridge, very quiet, and I would recommend it.

I got the Insignia 3.3 CF Mini Fridge for bottled water storage in my office. Based on past experience with mini fridges, I was concerned about noise and heat. I am very pleased to report that this Insignia mini fridge runs cool and quiet. Very nice! The sides of the cabinet do warm slightly while the fridge is running but quickly return to room temperature. Heat added to the room is negligible. This fridge is much roomier than expected, and the removable shelves mean it can accommodate a variety of container types. The LED light is bright and easily illuminates the entire interior. I didn’t move the thermostat from its “Recommended” position. The refrigerator was plugged in in the late afternoon and partially loaded with 12 water bottles. By the following morning, my water was a refreshing 37 degrees (as confirmed by a thermometer). Unboxing was a breeze. The packaging is clearly marked front and rear, so it was easy to have the box correctly oriented before opening. The refrigerator door opens from the left and is reversible if you need it to open from the right. I like the textured cabinet finish. Dust and fingerprints will be much less noticeable. The door has a nice satin finish that really looks luxurious. There is a full-width handle across the top of the door so that, if need be, I can reach over and open it without even looking. My wife has already inquired about one for her office. There are height-adjusting feet on the front of the fridge that work well to slightly raise it. If you are placing the refrigerator on carpet, you will need to place its feet on tiles or some other support. The door extends down to the floor and, if not adequately supported, the corner of the door drags and would quickly wear an arc pattern in the carpet. I am very happy with the Insignia 3.3 Cubic Foot Mini Fridge.

This mini refrigerator is many things, but it is not mini in capacity. The interior is brilliantly designed to maximize storage capacity. The 3 glass shelves slip out and in, with the lower shelf being a half glass shelf. This allows instant removal for tall bottles or commodities that require large vertical capacity. You can stand tall beverage bottles vertically. The door shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity. The exterior size truly belies the interior capacity. Interior light is LED and bright. The only control is a dial that allows the temperature be set from 32 degrees to the low 50s easily, or to turn the refrigerator to OFF. The exterior is sleek and smooth on all four sides, and provides the bonus of allowing the back of the refrigerator to be placed extremely close to a wall on the sides and back. Thankfully, the door may be installed to open left to right or right to left with a five minute procedure. I have the fridge in my master BR, and it is extremely quiet. The Insignia has leg adjusters that make it very easy to level. Summary: Excellent well designed and constructed mini refrigerator, easy to highly recommend!

Mini fridges have always been a must have in dorm rooms, but I haven't had once since I was in college many years ago. After moving into a new home a handful of years ago, I had issues with my main kitchen fridge storing food as well as drinks, so I decided to add a second fridge to my kitchen, one dedicated to drinks only. It has been a huge help with cooking and entertaining guests. This new Insignia mini fridge checks all the boxes. It has all the room for beer and pop I need, without taking up too much space. The shelves are adjustable, and space has not been an issue. It runs fairly quiet and has kept my drinks perfectly cold so far. Another perk is that it has a reversible door, so depending on the layout of your kitchen, garage, or basement, it is easy to adjust for your needs. Build quality feels solid, but the unit as a whole isn't terribly heavy. The size makes it a bit cumbersome to pick up and move around, but the weight itself has not been an issue. Overall, I am really happy with the fridge, and expect it to give me years of reliable service.

I got this little fridge to use in my basements for cold drinks. It's small like an end table (slightly taller), and quiet enough to be up near my TV area and does not bother a thing. When first plugged in it took a while to get cool, then I loaded it with beverages and overall about 24 hours on about ¾ cold setting to get all things chilled well. I was asking a lot of it up front since much of my soda was in the garage at near 80 degrees before. The shelves are non adjustable, and fit cans easily, but 16.9oz bottles have to lay on their sides, but I can lay them 2 deep on the shelves, so that works. 12oz glass bottles are in the same catagory. The door has a middle tray that is able to have taller bottles. I There is a 4.4 cubic foot that may have taller shelves, but I wanted this one because of the lower profile. The door itself is reversable, comes default with the door hinge on the right, easily changes to left with a few screws moved. I hope it lasts, so far it does what it says and I do recommend it.

Hello friends and welcome to my review of the Insignia 3.3 Cu FT compact refrigerator. When best buy asked for a review of this refrigerator, I thought well that's a silly request. I mean a fridge is a fridge, right? It's just a box that's supposed to keep stuff inside it cold. Pretty straightforward, it either works or it doesn't. However, upon a closer look, there is much more to this fridge than just that. I have had several 3.3 Cu ft fridges over the years and none have been as well set up as this one. The other models I have used have always had an upper section that acted as a mini freezer area. It is small, only about 4 inches high, and not very good at freezing things. This design eats up space you would normally use for the mini-fridge stuff. Most folks who get one of these style fridges are mainly using them for beverages. And that's where this fridge changes things and makes this a much more useful mini-fridge. First off for this model anyway, I would call this a beverage cooler. Mainly because this little guy can hold a lot of 12 oz cans. I currently have 60 - 12 oz cans in this fridge! Yes, you read that right SIXTY 12 oz cans! That's something I would have never thought possible. Also, inside this mini fridge right now I have 5 bottles of wine on the door. This is all fitting inside due to the fact that Insignia redesigned the whole inside of this fridge. The cooling system for this unit is located flat along the rear wall of the unit. Freeing up lots of space on the top of the box. Then the shelving inside is maximized for cans. The shelves are closer together as well giving an extra shelf in the middle. Finally, they redesigned the door storage. There are 3 totally useable shelves on the door. Two are for cans and the center one is great for large water bottles or regular-sized wine bottles etc... The final things I want to mention are the lighting, temp control, and sound. The lighting inside my previous mini-fridges was, shall I say nonexistent. There were no lights in the previous models, but that is fixed with this insignia model. They have put a nice bright LED light right in the middle of the box. This allows you to see everything inside even with it fully stocked! Next off is the temp control, it works great and I can get this mini fridge very cold. Just the way I like it. And last but not least, the sound, my model is installed in a base cabinet and I can't hear it at five feet away. If it was out in your room you might hear it, but it is quiet. I would highly recommend this mini fridge from Insignia. It works great as a can cooler which is what I wanted it for. And from the inside has been maximized I think most folks will find it much more useful than other models from competitors. It's five stars for me!

In terms of an Insignia mini fridge, this thing is a fantastic edition to any dorm, garage, or anywhere you might want an extra fridge. Unpacking out of the box is quite the easy task. The box just slides up and over the fridge after cutting the straps. The refrigerator will be sitting on a carton base and is covered with a protective bag and has corner guards as well for great protection while handling. After removing the bag off the fridge, you can pick it up and move it off of the carton base. Shock warning. I got exteme friction shocks while taking the bag off the fridge . Just be forwarned that it may happen. The door is taped up, and the power cord is shoved in the bottom of the unit by the control unit and other wiring. Be careful not to damage the other wiring while trying to take out the power cord. Inside the fridge, there is more tape holding the shelving in place. There is also a protective wrap on the outer door of the fridge that should be peeled off. Once plugged in, and much to my surprise, opening the door you will see a light! I have had a few mini fridges and this is the first to have a door light! It is a very soft and pleasant light, but does a good job at illuminating the whole fridge. The fridge while running is fairly quiet, and not overwhelming or annoying. The overall build quality of the fridge I would say is very good. It looks sharp, and doesn't feel cheaply made. The door opening motion and door seal feel nice too. The door opens from the top of the fridge , and out of the box opens from the left side. There is instructions in the provided book on how to change the door open side if you want it the other way. Now, the important part. Shelving configuration. With this being a bigger mini fridge and taller, it gives a lot more space and option for storage. In my case, I am using my fridge in the garage for mostly drinks. The main shelving has 4 levels, and each one can fit a 12pk of cans. The door has more limited space, but I absolutely love that they decided to only give 3 levels in the door, where the middle level is able to hold 2liters or bottles of wine upright, or whatever you may have that is taller. It is not wide enough for a gallon of milk, but can do cartons or half gallons easily. One thing that I haven't touched on yet is that this fridge does NOT have a ice/chiller box. It is all refrigerator space, and i'm actually quite happy that they did not put one in this fridge. It is something to consider if you like having the chiller boxes in your mini fridges. And lastly. Controlling the temp is easy and the dial is right by the light and out front so it is easy to see and adjust. Overall, I highly recommend this mini fridge for its overall build quality, the storage space and layout, and that is has a light!

Black Insignia - 3.3 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge I own a few Insignia products and this one does not disappoint. It is small, affordable and very handy/useful. It is packaged very well with foam and cardboard surrounding it. The unit itself is not extremely heavy and I was able to move it out of the box by myself, but needed help to move it elsewhere. The doors and shelves are taped to keep them in place and there was no damage at all to the product. I was a little worried because the outside box was damaged in transit but thankfully it was good! The door is interchangeable and appears easy enough to switch from side to side. I did not need to switch it but the directions make it seem very simple to do so if needed. I placed this unit in the bonus room/office/game room because that is where it will get the best usage. It looks great and fits against the wall without taking up too much room. The unit sat for a day before actually being plugged in – as per instructions, it was to sit to for 4 hrs to settle the cooling system. I set the temperature dial, which is in the front and easy to locate, to “recommended” and put 12 water bottles in. The next day everything was nice and cold and think that setting will work! It sits on a low pile carpet so I placed smaller coasters under the feet just to give it a little lift so the door would open easier. So far, very please with this new addition and would definitely recommend it.

    Excellent Small Refrigerator

Looking for a small refrigerator for home or office, this would be an excellent choice. It looks good inside and outside, plus set up is easy. All you need is electricity, because there is no app to download, and no Wi-Fi needed. The interior design affords lots of usable space. Along with 3 sturdy glass shelves, there are in-the-door racks that can hold lots of soft drinks, beer, food items, etc. Using the preset cooling level, the temperature is perfect for keeping them cold. My use is predominantly for beverages, and it is great to have cold ones at hand without taking up room in the big fridge. Should you want it more or less cool, the control is easy to access on the interior wall. Set up entails removing the fridge from its carton, placing it in an appropriate spot, adjusting the balancers if needed, and plugging it in. As to placement, it is recommended that the fridge has room to breathe. Placing it in a confining area can adversely affect proper long-term operation, which is not uncommon for appliances of this type. Once it’s running, give it time to cool the inside, before loading it up. This fridge offers lots of room for food and drinks within a small footprint. I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to achieve that goal.

Well I’m 42 now and I haven’t even thought about a mini fridge since my college days. My family and I have recently purchased a small beach house with a fairly tiny kitchen which I’m not used to so it seemed an appropriate time to revisit my youth and see if I could get away with a mini fridge such as this one for a space saver considering we are only there a couple days for the weekend here and there. This thing came and it was 100% bigger than I thought it was gonna be as far as space. Very nice black finish and everything was packed nice. Plugged it in and let it cool down to a nice 35 degrees and started filling the necessities into the door, and on the shelves. Honestly, when I put two days worth of drinks from deli meats and cheeses, and a few other things I was pleasantly surprised how much more room I still had. Not like I could fit a thanksgiving turkey in there or anything but still a decent space available. Everything stayed cool and nice and all and all very happy. Couldn’t have asked for a better little fridge so far. This one’s a keeper

This Insignia fridge stretches the meaning of mini. A decent size for a small office or dorm room, ots large enough to contain leftover containers or a gallon of milk depending on how you arrange the shelves. The fridge is simply packed and easy to remove from the box and recycle its contents. Adter plugging the fridge in, it took about 30 minutes to cool and maintained temperature well. Snacks and sodas stayed chill and it didnt seem to gain much heat opening the door to get something or move it around. Controls are pretty straighforward, a dial to essentially set the temperature. The setting marked recommended is a bit warmer than my main fridge but I think thats good enough (I'm just storing drinks and snacks in my home office). My only gripe is the lack of a freezer section. For a fridge this size, mini or not, it would be nice to have storage for ice cream or other small things (ice cubes) youd like to keep frozen. Depending on the item, you cpuld get away with putting the fridge on its coldest, so long as you plan on consuming the "frozen" item within a day or so.

We purchased 10 of these mini-fridges for use in our inn on Oct 2022. So far, two have failed just past warranty. Not a great track record. One stopped working completely. The second stops cooling until you turn up the thermostat, then it works for a while, then you have to turn it up again. Very odd. Tried taking in for service, but they don't even bother to fix them. If you are looking for a fridge to last a year or so, odd are this one will do fine. If you are wanting something more durable, perhaps you should look at a different brand.
