    Even though this is rated as a 10GB data transfer cable, it should still function as a standard USB connect cable. It did not. I purchased this cable for use on my vehicle. I've had no issues with previous USB cables on the vehicle so I did not consider this cable would not work. It did not. The cable did work on my computer so the cable is fine, it just is not compatible with all USB uses.
