But if you are hooking your phone up to a newer car and using Android Auto or Apple's CarPlay, you need to have a high speed cable. The cheap ones won't work. This is what I discovered with our car, a 2020 Subaru legacy. We kept having difficulty whenever the phone connected. Finally switched to a high-speed cable, like this one, and it has worked beautifully since.

Works perfectly and the quality is great, but it is a pretty basic product even though it is a 3.0 but I still would recommend
