the 5 x 5 i wanted wasn't available but it's okay. i like it now

It is a perfect size for my needs, I didn't need a big one as it is just and my two kids. I would definetly recommend it!

This a perfect little freezer. Small but spacious. Easy to move with wheels.

We purchased this freezer on sale for Black Friday even though the 5 cu ft freezer was cheaper but “wasn’t available for pickup”. The next day it suddenly was so we went and picked it up and returned this one. When we got this one unboxed it had a few pretty big dents in it.

I had to buy this to save my food while my fridge was getting replaced, and aside from not being able to pick it up the same day, it is a fairly decent freezer. Can't make I've cubes in it, but it'll still freeze the food as required.

As with any other "Best Buy" branded items that I've purchased, this unit works, but lacks any frills or great features - which is why the price is lower than the others. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing WOW with it either.

I've had this freezer for nearly 5 years now. It's extremely quiet. I keep a wireless thermometer in it and it maintains its temperature of -10 degrees F. I have it packed full. It holds a lot of food, though I do wish I had gotten the next size up. I like the small footprint of this freezer. You do have to manually defrost this freezer...I usually wait to defrost it on a day where the outside temp is below freezing so I can put all the food into bags and set them outside while I defrost the freezer. Easy to defrost, just empty the freezer, unplug it and leave the lid up. To speed up the process I sometimes use a heat gun on low along with a rubber or plastic scraper to melt the ice then either drain the water through the plug in the bottom or just use a few towels to soak up the water. Wipe down the inside and outside with a mixture of water with a little vinegar in it. The ice build up had been pretty light, so I've only had to defrost it about once each year. But frost build up depends a lot on the humidity and how often you open the lid. I only access the freezer a few times each week. I also recommend using a vacuum sealer to seal any food items. Using food sealer bags will allow you to store more food and at a maintained temp of -10 degrees F, most food will last indefinitely as long as it remains at that temp. I've had steaks in the freezer in vacuum bags that tastes just like fresh bought even 4 years after freezing them. Excellent freezer and well worth the purchase. I live in an a one bedroom apartment with and this takes up very little space and is a great supplement to the smallish apartment sized refrigerator.

Just the rite size we needed for more space than my frigerator freezer.
