I don't use the max setting because it makes the ice cream really hard. So far it's working very well. I do give it some bad marks for the INSIGNIA logo poorly glued. The one I tested says INSIGN A.

The product has several scratches and cracks, finishing touches are not clean and the sides are damaged. Overall it doesn’t look horrible but it looks used. I’m not using this company’s product again. It’s not trustworthy. Nevertheless, Best buy service was nice.

For a family I suggest you get the bigger size. Was brought to my car and the guy helped me load it including taking it out the box and disposing of it for me. Great customer service.
