The quality is very good. It doesn't taken much place in the kitchen.

We bought this as a dorm freezer for our son as where he lives does not have regular food service and the refrigerator provided did not have a freezer compartment. This allows him to have his favorite frozen foods that he can cook.

I've been looking for a deep freezer for a while at a reasonable price and I finally found one and I love it

We did curbside pickup of this freezer and my husband and I were able to carry it down our steps to the basement. Although our floor is level, the unit was wobbly, so we tried figuring out how to level the freezer. After not being able to figure it out (and we are pretty savvy), I started a chat. After one and a half hours on the chat and speaking to at least 5 different agents and speaking to someone from corporate, the end result is the unit can't be leveled. Which isn't good, since if it's not level, will the door stay closed enough to keep the food frozen? We put a shim under the freezer to level it, but I'm not happy with that solution. Even insignia.com says it has leveling feet, but, alas, it doesn't. "Adjustable leveling legs:Ensures your unit is level and helps with insulation." Apparently not true. We were told that we should return the unit and pick up another one of the same model that would have legs (which was wrong) - how we were supposed to be able to carry it up the stairs without the straps we used to carry it down, I don't know. Then it was suggested that we purchase the 5 cu ft one instead, that it had leveling legs. However, according to the Best Buy website, the 5 cu ft one DOES NOT HAVE leveling legs. Bottom line - I guess if you want a small unit that can be leveled, don't buy Insignia. And, don't trust the chat either!! This was the second time in one week that I had a chat and asked for the transcript to be sent to me, but it wasn't.

Really a good value for price. And to have the extra space for frozen dinners, ice cream, you name it. I am enjoying it.
