It's small enough that it doesn't take up all you space, but large enough to fit multiple meals into it. I got it as a surprise gift for my kid after she had a baby. I want to make sure there are multiple meals in it. She could also store any item she needs to for the baby. The freezer worked very fast at cooling so we could use it right away. Do note that if you have to lay it down you've got to give it time to sit up and prep for using it.

Which as a result allows us to keep more options for dinners at home despite not having a lot of food storage space.
