I purchased this chest freezer for my wife to store her precious breast milk supply. However, it turned out to be a complete disaster. Despite following all the recommended settings, after just THREE months the freezer failed to maintain a consistent temperature, resulting in the entire batch of breast milk being ruined. Almost 700oz of milk. The fluctuating temperatures caused the milk to spoil, rendering it unsafe for our newborn. This not only wasted hours of my wife's hard work but also posed a risk to our baby's health. I am deeply disappointed with the quality and reliability of this freezer. It failed to fulfill its primary purpose and ended up causing more harm than good. I strongly advise against purchasing this product for anyone looking to store breast milk or any other perishable items.

I bought this refrigerator new two years ago last July. For absolutely no known reason it simply stopped working

I purchased this in mid January 2023 and it gave out sometime within the past few days (we are in late March 2023) and of course it is no longer returnable. Now I am stuck with a freezer full of rotten meat and other foods and about an inch or spoiled fluids in it. The smell of the spoiled food is what alerted me to the fact that it had apparently quit. I lost about $250 worth of food because of this. They now want me to haul the horribly smelling appliance to Best Buy for them to take a look at it, and I have no vehicle to fit it in. This has got to be a joke. This was my first Insignia brand appliance and I completely regret my purchase.

The overall function of the product is great however it came very damaged. Dented lid, side and big holes in the back.

This freezer is perfect for my small apartment. The refrigerator freezer that came with the apartment holds very few items, and it quickly became unmanageable. I added the 3.5cf Insignia, and the problem is solved. I can now keep the items I need to access often in the refrigerator freezer and store the rest in the Insignia. The size is perfect. As many people mention, you basically cannot hear this freezer one bit. I have a mini fridge in the same room that is much louder. I did order a couple wire baskets that will make managing the contents in both of my freezers easier. Buy one! You will not regret it.

This freezer is very compact, and also quite necessary. I got this to improve my circumstances on keeping food more long term. The refrigerator I have is small and the freezer compartment is also not very big on that unit, yet I needed still something affordable along with being space saving. The unit is not very heavy to move around, and I was able to load it into the back seat of my mid-size car (I had to remove the packaging box and put that in the trunk though). I waited a couple of days to power it on after getting it home just so that all the fluids would be reoriented back in the proper internal position. I have had no problems with this little freezer and I am really confident with the INSIGNIA brand now. I had prior purchased an INSIGNIA flat screen TV, some multi-port USB charges, a dash cam and a coupe other things by this company. Quality is great and prices are affordable. I really love this little freezer. It is much larger than I thought it would be for the cubic feet, and I can store a number of food items.

I purchased this on the Labor Day sale for a great price. I needed a small additional freezer to offload some of the food items that were crowding my fridge freezer. This unit is just big enough to fill that need. The storage space is adequate, but I do wish the design had allowed for a bit more open space inside the unit. The compressor unit forms a bit of a shelf inside the unit itself and takes away from what could be additional storage capacity. Not terrible, but definitely could be an issue for someone who needs more storage space. Otherwise I've had no issues thus far and am happy with the unit.

I've been eyeing a deep freezer that was a good size and would take up minimal space in an apartment kitchen. This freezer is perfect for the job, low noise, works great and a decent price. I just wish that I caught the one with the lighted interior for a extra few bucks, it sold out.
