    I purchased the 3.5 cubic foot chest freezer on 10/7/2021. The freezer was great at first. Perfect size for overflow from main freezer. Unfortunately, yesterday I discovered that even though the power light on the freezer was on, it had stopped working. There was water on the floor and defrosted food in the freezer. I unplugged it and cleaned it out. I checked the power source and plugged it back in. The power light on the freezer is on, but it does not freeze. I’m assuming it’s the compressor, but I don’t know. The product comes with a 1 year limited warranty, so it’s no longer under warranty. I guess this is a great freezer if you’re looking for a short term solution. Seems ridiculous that a freezer would only last 17 months. I paid $155 for it, so it would likely cost more to repair it than it cost to buy. Extremely disappointed in this product.

    Excellent product! It fits anywhere in your home. It's small, but a lot of frozen food fits! I'm glad we purchased it!

    Do not Buy...stopped working after 5 months. Light stays on so you think it's working and ruined a freezer full of food...returned

    Just stopped working

    Just stopped working suddenly I lost all my frozen meat and microwaveable food I purchased freezer in January 2023 horrible experience don’t know how to reset it doesn’t make a sound like the fan isn’t running

    This chest freezer lasted a little less than 2 yrs before giving out. We have done our own troubleshooting, with no success. Go figure that Insignia only provides a year warranty, just for their product to give out shortly after. Very disappointing!

    Faulty Freezer? One year of use.

    I bought this freezer in March of 2023. It is now march 2024 and a little past the 1 year mark and my freezer quit on me. At first the temp on the freezer would fluctuate and i had to check it every day to make sure the food was still frozen. And just yesterday, i was standing beside the freezer and i heard a pop and smelled something burning. I unpluged it immediately. I am glad i was right beside it or im afraid my house would have gone up in flames. Will not buy this brand again.

    Save money buy a better brand. Piece of junk didn't last a year. Kept making popping sounds like the thermostat or something wasn't regulating and trying to kick on and off to keep it cold but it did this on all tempature settings so it is just piece of junk all around bad!! Do not buy!!
