I got this for my sisters extra internal drive. she wanted to retrieve the document that she had on it. I set it up for her to use it as a data drive. She has no complaints.

I needed this to replace my hdd in my desktop but still use the 500gb at the same time, this was the solution and the usb 3.0 speed allow for fast access my files

Used this product to encase a hard drive that was in a broken computer. I can access all my documents and treat it like an external hard drive.

This hard drive enclosure was a replacement for one of my hard drives that the port no longer worked. Walked in, purchased, took it home, worked and fit perfectly.

It fine it works for me it would be netter if it could kept the hard drive a little cooler really don't know what else to say .

Purchased the enclosure for my SATA drive when I replaced it with an SSD. Provides the necessary protection to use as an external drive now.

I upgraded my boot drive to ssd, and put my old hard drive into this, now I can use it as a backup in case something goes wrong without opening the case

This enclosure saved my bacon! I had a power outage that cause my desktop computer to crash. I wasn't sure if it was the drive or something else so I looked around for an enclosure to see if I could read the drive from my laptop. Bingo! I had my drive in the enclosure within minutes and was able to get everything off the drive (luckily it was the motherboard that broke.)

Does everything it says it does, was very surprised to find that it wasn't powered over the USB 3.0, kinda bulky, but works well enough

The drive enclosure was easily assembled and did the job, as promised. Probably as inexpensive an alternative as purchasing a USB cable for the HDD.

About 3 months and no issues. I'm happy with this purchase. I have it hooked up to my home server so I use it for network back ups and cloud with a 4TB HD in it.

This unit works great. I was able to use it to access my stored info from an older failed system. It was easy to setup for me as a first time user too.

Great cost effective way to transfer information from an old hard drive to new computer. Also lets you use old hard drive as external backup storage.

A great item if you want extra storage space or even more importantly, a way to get pictures off an old computer that has crashed! Nice item over all.
