By putting my old hard drive into this enclosure I have access to my files from the broken computer. Great product.

This is a great item when your system goes down. I was able to get all my data off the Hard Drive when my mother board crashed

This enclosure helped me to save many important files that I thought were gone forever. When my PC's motherboard went south. I just installed its hard derive in this enclosure and voila. Very easy to use and it is now an extra external storage drive on my new PC. In fact, I was so pleased that I bought a second one for the other hard drive from the old PC.

Bought hard drive enclosure to salvage data from computer that had gone bad. Removed drive from computer case, installed in hard drive enclosure, plugged it in, turned it on and all worked well. Just like another drive. Able to transfer data as I had wanted.

I bought this disk enclosure so I could make use of a hard drive as an external drive that was once the "C" drive from an old XP system.

Great way to re-use old hard drives (that were upgraded / replaced) or simply to make your own portables.

I needed a simple enclosure to recover data from a hard drive and this fit the bill just fine. Worked well and had no issues. They only thing I would improve is the use of screws. You have to use a few of them to open and secure the drive. Wished it could be a little easier to open and close it without the screws.

This box was the epitome of plug-and-play. The only thing had to do was plug in my hard drive, screw in the covers and plug it into the computer. The only thing that would make it better is if this enclosure got its power from the USB port instead of the wall.

Fits 3.5" SATA drives and works over USB1, USB2, or USB3. It does take its own power supply, but functions as expected.

I bought this enclosure because the box said works with all hard drives, but I guess my hard drive was an older one so the connections weren't the same nor did it come with any adapters. Wasted time and effort. they should change the wording on the box to only include SATA hard drives, or exclude anything older than SATA. Seems like a good product if I had a compatible hard drive to use it with.

Needed a hard disk enclosure for a 3 TB drive this allowed me to use the whole disk (older ones only support 1 2.4TB partition)

Kind of disappointed that it was the last one on the shelf, since I could have used 10 of them for old drives i used as backups.

I used this to turn a previous internal HDD to an external to attach to my MyCloud. Super simple to set up.

Bought this because SATA ports went out on Motherboard. Circumvented the problem with this little baby. Works great.

Covers the naked hard drive so I can use the pictures and movies and software from my old broken computer.

It worked with a hard drive I removed from a wd my cloud enclosure that stopped working after less than 2 yrs

Nothing too exciting to report other than this product works well for turning internal drives into external drives.

Everything fit right and it works as expected. Was very easy to install my hard drive.
