The enclosure, with the retrieved hard drive from a disabled computer, solved my security concerns and effectively became another 'big storage' device, precluding the future need for another accessory.

We purchased a new desktop to replace our old one when the motherboard died. I had files & photos on the old hard drive which I wanted to save. The fee to transfer files was going to be $100 and up (we got estimates from a couple of shops). As we were talking with our salesman, he suggested this product. For $39.99 we were able to insert our old hard drive in a matter of minutes and hook it up to the new computer. This allows me to transfer only the files I want. Works great!

Best build quality of most of the external cases choices out there. Makes a great stackable choice for full size external drives and the USB 3 interface makes quick work of even really large transfers. Stays relatively cool as long as the device is not in direct sunlight as older drives have a tendency to run warmer. Love the fact that it has a real power switch to power the drive down. Only drawback is that when the OS ejects the drive, the drive does not Auto Power off like some of the other interface controllers like the Siig case does. Great design and features for the money.

This is the second enclosure that i bought. Had a rosewell that lasted 2 days. This one is still working, but i already bought a thermaltake two drive enclosure and I am the happiest with that one so far.

This is the 2nd version of this HDD case that I've purchased from BBY. The case and install is very easy and quick, but what makes this one even better than the last is the USB 3.0 support.

Assembles quite easily and was quickly recognized by my system. Run fairly cool and the data transfer speed is respectable. This is my 'GOTO' HDD enclosure - highly recommended.

I needed an enclosure that works with >2TB drives. This one does. It's used for routine backups with a 4TB (NAS level) drive and has been working well for several weeks now.

Have had this external 3.5 inclousre for about 2 months and works awsome easy to put a drive in and does usb 3.0 transfer rates like it says it does.

Easy to install the hard drive in the case although it would be nice to have thumb screws instead of the ones provided. But overall the case works great and as advertised.

Easy to install your old hard drives. Great for those that you have no idea what’s on them anymore. Install the HDD, plug to computer and that’s it.
