3.6amps make a BIG difference!

A lot of other ones are less than 2.0 amps. Pay attention to the specs when buying one. This one will work for a lot of your higher draw devices. I got a great deal on this with it being on the "Deal of the Day". I'll buy another one the next time they put it up on sale!

The only thing that sucks is the USB port is very close to the plug. Thus, you will not be able to have a large plug and still use the USB port. I notice most units have this problem, so I am singling this problem to just this product. Overall, good product for a good price.

We chose to replace the outlet near our couch in our upstairs home theater room with this unit to allow for easy charging of tablets and cell phones. works perfectly and allows access to the 2 outlets for other cords. Easy install and looks great.
