Having read some of the reviews I was apprehensive about purchasing this. But it went on sale for a price I could not pass up and I am glad I did. It is rather large but if you have a standard sized outlet you should not have a problem. I think it would be an improvement to have the option to screw in the wires on the side rather than only being able to insert them at the back as that adds to its size . I did have an issue first time I tried to use the regular outlets, but after one try they worked fine. USB's are great and as others have noted its nice to be able to use the outlets as well as charge your devices, getting rid of their bricks. We use them for LG and Iphones and they charge very quickly....Will probably buy another one when they go on sale again....

We recently moved into a new place and having USB chargers that are bulky just don’t look good. We saw these on sale and purchased a couple for around the house. Now there is one in every room and I don’t know how we didn’t live without these before. They are easy to install if you have the knowledge of wiring in home and access to shut off power for safety. Simple clean look and charges all devices with no issues. The main power plugs ar close to USB charger so it may be hard to have multiple items plugged in.

I loved these USB-ported AC outlet sets so much I've bought five of them in total so far. Very high current capabilities on these, and charges the power-hungry iPhone 6, my Samsung Galaxy phones, and my LG X-Power very quickly and without fuss. The install is easy as well, and thankfully there's two wire ports per lug so you can daisy chain these with other electrical wallbox components if needed. Better these than some off-brand from auction sites or mega-online-retailers. Absolutely fantastic value for the price Best Buy has these at.

Ordered/had installed 9 of these from a daily deal. Electrician said they are simple to install and I like that I can have 4 things plugged in at the same time. I put the one inside my cabinets and added it onto switch and then added a tape light (also daily deal) with usb plug in for really inexpensive under/over cabinet lighting. The only constructive criticism is that these do fit “normal” rocker plate covers but mine are satin bronze so the white kinda looks strange.

I purchased this as I figured having the two extra USB ports would come in handy in my office. The installation of the outlet was very easy and all works well with it. The only downside to it is that you cannot plug certain appliance plugs (vacuum) into it. It will not accept the larger sized prong. I thought that the 3.6A only applied to the USB ports, not the regular pronged outlet. I guess my mistake. Otherwise nice outlet aesthetically.

Bought three of these. Easy to install although one outlet had some difficulty getting wire to lock into outlet. Handles iPad Air charging with no problem. can plug larger device into bottom outlet without blocking USB ports. Top outlet obstructs ports if large three prong plug.

This was a pretty straight forward installation. I bought one for my residence and one for my RV. The installation for my RV did not work out very well. This outlet is fairly deep and did not fit in my shallow boxes on the RV. After I received these there was a better version of them for the same price. Should have waited.

Works great, I have bought them several times. We put them anywhere we charge our cell phone. They are also useful for other usb chargeable devices, such as google mini, echo dot and kindle. When you are using the USB plugs you can only put in regular small plug item such as a lamp. For devices such as the amazon echo dot which have a large plug, I just pull of the plug and connect with the USB socket. The other draw back is this and similar outlets are bigger then standard outlets and are difficult to get in the wall. While I could connect the wires, I couldn't get it and the wires to fit in the box. Fortunately my son-in-law is able to get everything to fit.

I have two of these in my kitchen and they've been a great addition. They have a bit more power capacity on the USB outlets versus many other brands. No more usb wall warts to keep up with or take up outlets. These are an easy diy install but keep in mind you likely won't be able to mount these in shallow outlet boxes. I had to switch boxes as the electrician used shallow boxes for the standard outlets in our island bar where I installed these usb equipped outlets. Luckily it the boxes were surface mounted in the wood work so it was an easy swap.

Works great. However, the outlet is a little deeper than the box and sticks out from the wall a little. Be aware if buying for older houses. Otherwise it is super nice to have 2 usb chargers and still have 2 electrical outlets.

This USB outlet is a good buy. It eliminates the need to have charging blocks taking up space on a regular electrical outlet. It is, however, a very large outlet. Meaning, the depth of it makes it necessary to cram the wiring into the back of the outlet box to get it to fit flush. It's especially challenging when it's wired in series, i.e. two groups of wires coming into the box. Another thing that might be worth noting, the finish on the outlet and trim plate is matte, and a tiny bit textured as well. This may not bother some people, but it won't match most trim plates that are sold in typical hardware stores. At least, none of the ones I've seen in stores. You may only notice it if it's installed close to another outlet, as was my case.

I ordered these through BestBuy online, and they arrived quickly and well packaged. Installation is a snap. Be sure to cut off the circuit breaker of course before replacing an existing electrical outlet. Do note that the push-in wire connectors still require you to tighten the screws. Keep wires short, because you'll likely need to push pretty hard to get all your wire into your junction box: the body of this wall outlet takes up much more space than just a simple two-plug outlet that you're replacing. I bought one for each bedside lamp in our house so that every nightstand has a convenient charging station.

I installed 4 of these. They're pretty simple to install, even though I know next to nothing about electrical work. The first three went in with no problems. 2 receptacles had 1 BL, 1 WH, 1 GND; 1 had 2 BL, 2 WH, 1 GND. The 4th one had 1 BL, 1 WH, 1 RED, 1 GND. I believe the RED is for the wall switch to be able to operate a lamp. I wired it up exactly like the receptacle it replaced, but the wall switch-to-lamp no longer worked. I then tried every other different combination of wires in holes, keeping RED and BL on the correct side and the WH on the other (never crossing over). IOW, I had 4 holes, and 3 wires, but no combination worked to get my switch-to-lamp to work. The USB's work great though.

I decided to buy this when Best Buy put it on sale. This became cheaper than the others I could buy around town. Yes, you can find cheaper online but I don't trust those, at least not for something that could possibly burn my house down. Installation for this is just as easy as any other outlet. In fact, it's a tad easier. For the positive and the negative, it has 2 holes that you slide wire through and you'd just need to tighten 1 nut to hold both. The ground wire is the same but only 1 slot of course. It charged up my iPad Pro with ease. It looks pretty decent too. Highly recommend it.

Charges phone super fast and is easy to install. Is fairly deep, so make sure your box has space for it.

I bought this USB charger / wall outlet for my kitchen, since that's where I generally charge up my cell phone. The installation instructions are very good -- better, in fact, than those that came with a similar item from another maker that I bought at another store. It frees up both electrical outlets while still charging a pair of cell phones via the USB outlets. The most difficult part of the installation was finding the correct circuit breaker in order to shut off the electricity for that outlet since the labelling in my circuit breaker panel isn't very clear.

The USB charger wall outlet works as intended and charges multiple devices at once. It eliminated the USB/plug adapter for phones, tablets, and other devices while providing two additional outlets. The installation was easy, providing you understand basic DIY electronic principles. I bought 4 and am considering purchasing more for our guest rooms.
