It holds plenty of trash, keeps the trash out of sight and seems to be easy on AA batteries. A bonus is that any regular plastic shopping bag can serve as a liner! Think I’ll purchase another one if it is run again on Deal of the Day.

You have to experiment with where to place it so it doesn't always open when you move around, but once you find the right spot, it's the perfect regular or home office trash can and it keep trash out-of-sight. I bought it on sale and it was a bargain!

However, it is small. Of course, 3 gal. is very small. Thus, it is suitable for personal utilization in a bedroom or in office. The other good point of this trash can is saving batteries. No changing of batteries from 05/21/2022 up to now 11/01/2022

It replaced at step-on trash can of the same size, but the auto open makes it more convenient and easier to use. Easily taken from package to effectively useful in minutes.
