I'm very confused, but it's been consistently working for about 4 weeks since the initial plug-in. The sound quality is perfect--no static or sound cutting in/out. I'd rate the item higher if it wasn't for the weird mishap after the first week of use.

However, the staff at Best Buy helped me out and I have had no issues listening to my favorite music ever since. This product has lasted me over a year, even with the hot and cold weather. I have had no connectivity issues either.
