Unfortunately, the plug in my dorm died, and the "Insignia - 3 Plug Outlet Extender" was reliable, discreet, and inexpensive. I highly suggest purchasing this item, and additional Insignia products.

The black is a nice touch and adding more plugs without additional cables provides a clean look. The value for the price is well worth it.

I bought this product to use on a Norwegian cruise that I had planned and this came up after doing some research as something I may want to bring, Unfortunately, I didn't end up using it since the cruise ship I travelled on was very new and power outlets were numerous. I actually tried to return it but since I bought it a few days before I left and didn't unpack for a few days once I returned, I was out of the window for returns. I'll eventually find a use for it around the house or I'll give it to someone who needs it. It seems like a great little accessory though.

Perfect fit for kitchen. Needed an extra outlet for a third appliance. Rather than having an entire extension cord, this was exactly what I needed. Only issue this would really have might be that it is small. That worked for me but if you have bulky plugs, it might inhibit you from using all three outlets.

If you want to extend your wall outlet by three (for a total of 4), then this simply works. Plug it in and that's it. It doesn't ground anything and there's no surge protection. But, you can safely plug a surge protector to it.

This items is a safe, compact and reasonably priced item purchased to assist in working from home.

This is the perfect size to use in a dual outlet wall plate - it doesn't cover the other outlet. Never had any problems using it.

This is pretty much the same as other extenders. There’s nothing special about the Best Buy brand: Insignia. It gives you more plugs if that’s what you need. If you are looking online, I’m sure there are places that have one of these cheaper made by other brands. But if you’re already in the store and you need one of these, don’t hesitate to grab one.
