Not compatible with MacBook Pro

Detects the monitor but the signal is not actually sent, creating a black screen. Was hoping to navigate between two computers without unplugging but I have to disconnect and reconnect the USBC to thunderbolt3 everytime I want to switch to the MacBook Pro, defeating the purpose of the switch.

hdmi switch

I purchased this switch because the two HDMI ports on my tv were being used. the switches only flaw that I found is that it not doesn't have an auto detect feature

WORKED FOR 1.5 MONTHS, NO HELP

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got new devices and 4K tv for Xmas and this switch worked just long enough to malfunction outside of the return/exchange window and customer service refused any help because I didn't buy insurance or protection on an inexpensive (but not overly) device that worked for barely over a month and a half. I troubleshot and it was definitely the switch and none of the cables, outputs, or inputs on any of my devices (I tested with multiple devices and cables directly into all of my TV's hdmi ports btw with no issues so it is definitely the switch). It suddenly takes longer to switch between sources, the display is multiple uncentered/weirdly zoomed displays in green stripes on sources 1 and 3 and source 2 on the switch doesn't work at all now. Would NOT recommend best buy or their insignia hdmi switch based off this experience. 15 day return period is ridiculous. Now I remember why I haven't shopped at best buy since I was a teenager and why I will avoid best buy like COVID unless they have the best deal on something exclusive (like the cyberpunk Steelcase which was the only reason I was on the site in the first place).

PS4 pro doesnt recognize HDR

Says it supports HDR passthrough which works for my Fios TV box and PC but my PS4 pro doesnt recognize that it supports HDR so therefore i gave it a neutral 3 stars

Sound trails video terribly

It's easy to install, connecting the output to my HD TV and my Blu Ray player to Input 1. The image is fine but no matter what I do the sound trails the video by about a half a second. It is completely unusable. A terrible waste of money. On top of that I purchased it 29 days ago and Best Buy says I can't return it.

It does the job

It was difficult to figure out which plug went in to which hole in the back and then to yry to figure out what to turn it on to. Took me about an hour of playing with before I finally figured which plug went where.

Supposedly new item appeared to have been opened

I have spares so it wasn't worth returning, but could have been problematic for someone who didn't.

Waste of money and time

I watch fire stick and when I switch back to cable there is no audio. Not worth the stress and I wanted for my Xbox. Misleading reviews don’t waste your money on this just get a TV with more than 2 HDMI.
