This adequately replaces the previous device. My 2024 43-inch Hisense Google Smart TV features three HDMI ports: HDMI 1 (ARC) is dedicated to my Hisense HS205G soundbar; HDMI 3 accommodates my Xbox One X; and HDMI 2 is utilized for my Spectrum Xumo streaming box, Blu-ray DVD player, and Windows 11 mini PC. To avoid game glitches, I advise against using an HDMI switch with game consoles. A remote control is not required.

The HDMI switch we purchased did what we hoped it would do and that is to allow us to connect both a WII and Switch at the same time and by pushing a button, we could switch between them to play. Was easy to hook up.

Bought after I upgraded my tv because I had three devices and my new tv had two ports. Worked great. Converts up to 4k for all my devices. The only drawback is that I wish it had a remote and not just a button on the device. So to switch between devices I have to get up and manually change it. Other than that, great plug and play functionality.

I wish this flashed a, a,b, or c on screen at each press so i knew which one it was on. It does have an led indicator which is the same thing. I guess that would require some kind of video circuitry that isnt built in. But it does the job. I have 1 open port. My tv has 2 ports so one is dedicated to the cable box. The other is dedicated to this which i have my nintendo switch, xbox and a wire for my laptop. Nice and small. I wish it had mounting holes. I may just doubled sided tape it though. Great product. Does the job

Simple set up and easy use. Good way to add more versitility to a screen with few hdmi ports.

Was looking for a way to add more hdmi to my tv and this was what I wanted works great and worth the money.

My son bought this for me as a gift because my new tv had only two hdmi ports. Good for playing games. Has a hdr pass Through. Have a 4k hdr bluray player hook to it and works great a big plus.

It does exactly what its supposed to do! It's nice to be able to switch easily through my HDMI ports with just the click of a button, and to have extra ones at that.

Works great. Simple installation. Expanded my HDMI ports. Just what I wanted. Excellent device to expand your HDMI ports.

This 3-port HDMI port switch is very good. It's compact and doesn't use much space. It's easy to hook up. I would recommend this one.

Tried a couple of more expensive HDMI switch brands and landed on the Insignia brand. Sometimes the more simple version are better than the ones with a remote

Easy to use. Nice to switch inputs on this device for my game systems without taking the HDMI cord out of the HDMI port in the TV. Do not have to worry about the cord damaging the port in the back of the TV because I do not have to switch cords between my two game systems constantly anymore. Thank you insignia for creating this device it is awesome and two thumbs up!

I found the product to do nicely what it said it would do.

Very good for people with multiple media outlets and consoles. Easy to use and set up.

I needed 4 HDMI slots for my TV but only had 3 slots. Bought this unit because it could handle 4k pass through. Does the job it was intended to and 4k still looks good.

Had this device installed by the Geek Squad. I had an old DVD player that had AV cables but my new TV didn't have ports to connect them. Got a converter and added the HDMI switch to add extra channels for connection and reduce the number of remotes need to access the DVD player. Works great and saves a step in using the DVD. Only had 2 hdmi connectors before, still have 2 unused hdmi channels after adding the 3 port switch.

I have older TV with only one HDMI. Now the satilite box, Roku and DVD player all are a button instead of unplugging and plugging.

HDMI switch works great for connecting multiple devices. Highly recommend very easy to use and set up. Picture is not compromised in any way

I bought this so I could use one monitor of my dual-monitor setup as the primary monitor for my work laptop. It does what I expected, but I wish that there were individual buttons to select the input instead of just 1 button. I'm switching between input 1 and 2 frequently, so I have to go past 3 to get to input 1. Also, it takes an external power supply. Haven't most things gone to a USB-style power supply? It says 5V DC, and it looks like a micro-USB connection. Is the power draw too much for a USB charger? Instead of having a single USB charger with multiple outputs, the external power supply takes up valuable space on my power strip.
