    Why I bought a second Insignia switch

    This is the second Insignia HDMI switch. The first was purchased over two years ago and is working just fine. This second unit is to set up a duplicate system like the first in another home. Like most electronic items, if they survive 50 hours they will last a long time. The second switch seems to be like the first one. Great product!

    This looks to be a good product. It did not work for what we needed but, I'm sure in the proper application, this product would handle the need.

    One star because it doesn’t even come with an HDMI cable to go from the TV to the switcher. It’s too expensive to not come with that, and it’s unusable without it. Devices are supposed to come with cables. TVs don’t come with an HDMI cable.

    Have to change hdmi by hand to view,not what we expected and desired,hard to hook up

    Does not send signal through a balun connector

    Does not transfer signal through a balun connector heading to outdoor tv. Might work as a basic switch but wasn’t my use for it.

    We were using this as a tool for our presenation at my company and constantly was locking up and freezing. I had to constantly reboot when usin it.

    I was not able to get a video signal from my Xbox One S at all. Roku signal worked great for about a weeek and the the screen would randomly go black and come back on. Each device works perfect when plugged directly into the tv.

    The 'Insignia 3-port HDMI Switch' shut off mt Panasonic Plasma TV after 30 minutes everytime. When I directly connected output to TV, there was no problem. Also product stopped working after three weeks. Disappointed.

    Look for another switch.

    The switch changes/drops the output that it’s currently on and I have to constantly get up and change the switch back to the one I was watching. Extremely frustrating.
