I bought this so I could use one monitor of my dual-monitor setup as the primary monitor for my work laptop. It does what I expected, but I wish that there were individual buttons to select the input instead of just 1 button. I'm switching between input 1 and 2 frequently, so I have to go past 3 to get to input 1. Also, it takes an external power supply. Haven't most things gone to a USB-style power supply? It says 5V DC, and it looks like a micro-USB connection. Is the power draw too much for a USB charger? Instead of having a single USB charger with multiple outputs, the external power supply takes up valuable space on my power strip.

HDMI switch works great for connecting multiple devices. Highly recommend very easy to use and set up. Picture is not compromised in any way

I have older TV with only one HDMI. Now the satilite box, Roku and DVD player all are a button instead of unplugging and plugging.

Perfect and simple press of a button to switch between output. Recently bought monitor that only had two HDMI so adding this allows me to connect every system.

This HDMI switch was easy to set up and allows up to 3 devices to connect to a single HDMI port on your TV. I have my Blu-Ray and Firestick connected.

Easy to install and works great. I am running a laptop and a gaming device into one monitor and this made it easy.

Easy to use. Nice to switch inputs on this device for my game systems without taking the HDMI cord out of the HDMI port in the TV. Do not have to worry about the cord damaging the port in the back of the TV because I do not have to switch cords between my two game systems constantly anymore. Had this device installed by the Geek Squad. I had an old DVD player that had AV cables but my new TV didn't have ports to connect them. Got a converter and added the HDMI switch to add extra channels for connection and reduce the number of remotes need to access the DVD player. Works great and saves a step in using the DVD. Only had 2 hdmi connectors before, still have 2 unused hdmi channels after adding the 3 port switch.

The HDMI switch we purchased did what we hoped it would do and that is to allow us to connect both a WII and Switch at the same time and by pushing a button, we could switch between them to play. Was easy to hook up.

I only have three available HDMI ports on my TV so this gave me those additional connections I needed. The only downside is having no remote so you do need to manually press the button to change between inputs.

A basic HDMI switch that does the job. It is being used to switch between gaming consoles on a secondary TV so it does not get super high use which makes the button control and lack of a remote a non-issue. In fact no remote is a positive in my eyes. One less remote to feed batteries and to get lost. Plus the kid's legs aren't broken. He can get up and walk to the TV to switch between consoles and he is going that way to swap controllers anyway. ;p

My son has a smaller HDTV in his bedroom and it fits perfectly in the cabinet. The problem is that it only has 2 HDMI ports. I could not find another TV that would fit in that space (unless we really dropped screen size), but he has a few things he wanted hooked up to it...so I started shopping and found this Insignia Switch. It is perfect! Now he has 3 additional pieces (video game, Blu-Ray player and streaming service) hooked up and doesn't have to unplug one thing to use another. The switch is small and appears well built so it's easy to hide. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Purchased for Samsung TV with only 2 hdmi ports. Needed extra ports for Roku, FireTV & Blu-Ray. Switch works very well & easy setup. Solved all my issues.
