Very easy to set up and use. All functions work great. 4 stars cause it has no remote. Even my cheap one from wal mart has a remote.

I needed a new switch out of necessity as my HDTV only has 2 HDMI plugs and I have 4 appliances. My previous switch (from another brand I won't mention) decided to fail so I needed to get a new one. This Insignia switch was simple enough and does precisely what I need it to do. The only downside is this lacks a remote.

This product works great when you have an older TV with only one HDMI port. Just plug an HDMI cable into the back of this switching box and the other end into the TV. Then add your other HDMIs you want to switch between. There is a little button on top to select which input you want. The only thing I wish this had was a remote to switch inputs rather than a button since our TV is mounted pretty high.

We purchased this Insignia 3-port HDMI switch to expand the ports on our 2 port HDTV and replace an older non-Insignia switch that failed after about 3 years of use. The switch functions perfectly for passing audio and video between sources with no image or sound degradation. This switch does not come with a remote, nor will it auto-switch inputs if it detects a power-ON from another source, so if you have to toggle an input while relaxing on your couch you will need to walk up to the device manually depress the "Input/Source" button. A mild annoyance for sure, but a feature we overlooked when purchasing this unit.

I needed to consolidate a rats nest of cables. This is perfect. I plugged the cable TV receiver, DVD player, and Xbox in to it, and one cord going to the TV. Simple to use and cleaned up the wall appearance considerably.

Works great! Because it is a powered switch, there is No Degradation of 4K signal from Roku to TV. Top mount switch. All ports on the back side! I did not want one with a remote because I lose them. I have a Roku device, DVD player & gaming device connected.

I had a large 52 inch flat screen TN with only on HDMI port which was being used. I also had a in house surround system which would not allow the utilizing the one HDMI port. I had a streaming VCR(needed to be replaced) that I used to get all of my streaming apps but the the new VCRs did not contain have all of the streaming apps.. This devise made it easy to now get all of the apps now with a Roku. It is very easy to switch from TV to Roku with this devise

Works exactly as advertised and is very easy to use. Just plug in your TV or monitor into the output and up to three HDMI-Enabled devices into the inputs. Just push the button on top to switch with ease. Best used on a desk-based setup where you can easily reach the button to switch inputs. For example: I use mine on my desk where I have my PC and my game console.
