This HDMI switch was just what I needed as our Sony 900F only has 4 hdmi ports. This switch delivers a true full hd 4k 60fps signal to the 3 ports. I was skeptical but it delivers, kudos to insignia. This is my first insignia product and I am extremely impressed, and highly recommend!!!

When you've only got one HDR port on your TV and have several different HDR devices, what are you going to do? Constantly switching cables wasn't an option.
With a quick touch of a button, I can switch between my two gaming consoles or the cable box, depending on what I want to watch or play.
Installation is very simple. Unpackage the switch. Plug in the power cord. Plug in the one to three HDMI cables into the input ports. Plug your HDMI cable into the output port and plug that one into your TV or receiver. Huzzah!
The button on top switches between the 3 ports and a front indicator light tells you which port you are currently on. This is a small, fairly inexpensive way to enjoy multiple 4K HDR devices with only one port available.

Works as advertised. Connect the cables and power supply, and use it. Expanded my HDMI inputs so I don't have to go to the hassle of unplugging and replugging devices whenever I want to switch to a different device.

Like many people, I had a problem with my A/V receiver: It only had one HDMI port for either a DVD player or a Blu-ray player, and I have one of each. The solution was simple: Get an HDMI switch like this one to hook them both up at once. Although I only needed it for two devices, it has ports for three, which is a bonus. It doesn't have a remote control like some switches have, so you have to change the port setting from a push-button on the switch itself, but that's not such a big issue. I needed a device that could handle 3D and high-end audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, and I'm glad to see that it handled both those aspects perfectly. It's also supposed to handle 4K with HDR; as I don't have a 4K TV yet, I couldn't test that part out, but one day I hope to have a TV with both 4K and 3D so I could try out both. I needed something I wouldn't have to replace so soon, and this looks to be a winner in that respect also.

It was a little confusing to set up at first. It took me a while to figure out the placement of the HDMI connections. There are four HDMI ports. It is called a 3-Port HDMI Switch, but one HDMI port goes out to TV. The other three ports connect whatever one chooses, such as a DVD player, or a streaming set box. There were occasional problems at first, but overall it works quite well. It is not controlled by a remote, so changing from one connection to another requires pushing the button on the top of the device.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear the device is working well overall, even though the initial setup and HDMI port labeling caused some confusion. This switch works fine and fills our need for it to be able to switch devices on one of the HDMI ports on our smart TV.
One thing we don't like about it -- the RED LIGHT that lights up to let you know what device is activated is SO BRIGHT that it is terribly distracting.
I placed it behind our sound bar so the light was not in our eyes while we watch the TV.
By placing it behind the sound bar, though, the remote won't work because the location sirupts the signal to the switch.
Too bad this design flaw makes it impossible to give this switch 5 stars.
Thanks!

Best HDMI switcher I have been able to find that works with my Vizio soundbar. While a bit on the spendy side, it is the best quality one I have been able to find. The only downside is there is no automatic switching and no remote.

This device only has 3 4K UHD inputs and 1 output. Has great 4K UHD/HDR pass-through with no issues whatsoever. There is no remote control or auto-switching feature, meaning you have to press the button manually to switch HDMI inputs. The price is good for this type of devices, just no bells and whistles.

I have a wall mounted TV and wanted to hide the wires, but it is tough to do when you have 3 HDMI devices as the channel in the wall is small. I bough this and then I only needed 1 HDMI in the wall as the three devices plug into the back of this. Super easy to connect and change devices just by clicking the button on top. With that said, it can't cost more than $1 to manufacture this thing. Should be a $19.99 item, and even at that price, the manufacturer and retailer could make good money.

Purchased two of these to hook up a handful of video game consoles and other accessories to our new tv that only had 2 HDMI ports. These work great. I've got one of these in each port which lets me have 6 devices hooked up. They work flawlessly, are super easy to hook up, and are very discreet but cool looking. They did exactly what I needed them to.
