I needed to run more hdmi wires behind my wall. This would be expensive and time consuming to do. This saved the day.

So because i saved the 20-40 bucks, i have to hit the button once more to go between input 2 and input 1. i wish the button was easier to access and the power cable is a bit short

It does work with 4k. I like it because it comes with a power cord to power the unit consistently. It is designed for 3 equipment.

I find it pricey ($60) for just a 3-port switcher with no IR remote. I returned it after a couple of days when I saw 7-port switcher (different brand) with IR remote, for $40. I would recommend 3-port unit if it was being sold for $30 or less.
