Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine (unlike a prior cable with same connectors purchased on Amazon) but unfortunately, my iPhone 15 has to be removed from it's case for USB C connector to fully engage with phone. The far more expensive apple cables with USB-C connectors do engage properly even with my phone in it's case. I use this cable to play music backing tracks to my guitar amplifier so I can play along (USB-C to ⅛" Stereo mini plug); and to play music through the AUX input in my car. A cheaper two piece alternative that also works even with iPhone in case is to purchase an Apple USB-C -to- FEMALE mini-plug connector. Then use a standard cable with a standard ⅛" stereo mini plug on each end to make the connection between the Apple cable and your amp or car stereo. Best Buy sell both these cable and together they would cost quite a bit less than Apple's single (USB-C>⅛" stereo mini cable).

Occasionally, the audio jack will give you a few issues. These issues include not going in all the way and as a result only outputting sound from half of your speakers. An easy fix is to take out the jack and input it in a more even manner. The jack is also a little weak and prone to bending if you aren't carefully. A bent jack still outputs perfect sounds. I've had this product since May (it's now Sept) and I will be buying another eventually! Super easy to use too, just plug in!

I use it to connect my Logitech Speaker system to a Dell Docking Station. I primary use it for business calls. You may want to get something a little fancier if your playing music or have higher end speakers to connect too

I use it in my car that doesn't have bluetooth for music and with my newer Samsung phone and so far no complaints. Music comes through clean and loud.

Cars and trucks no longer have CD/DVD players available as audio options, Worse than that, they've even stopped including the accessory plug-in to allow you to bring your own player with you. So I now have two CD players and connector cords to play my music or listen to books on CD when and where I want. This cord plugs into an available USB-C outlet and I'm in business. Just what I needed!
