Battery pack is very good. I like the display and how you can change between higher and lower charge rate. It’s a good size and can charge phone 2-3 times without recharging the battery.

I really love the Insignia products. They’re always affordable quality and this is no different. Size is compact and the screen is nice and clear. Added usb lanyard is nice as well. Maybe would have liked an option to pull the cable taut against the battery if I didn’t want the cable loop sticking out. But that’s nitpicking. 30W in and out is also very nice.

I recently picked up the Insignia™ 30W 10,000mAh Portable Charger, and it has quickly become one of my must-have gadgets. First off, the design is sleek and compact, making it easy to slip into my bag without taking up much space. What really impresses me is its power. With 10,000mAh, it has enough juice to recharge my smartphone multiple times, which is great for long days out or when I’m traveling. I’ve used it with both my phone and tablet, and it charges them quickly, thanks to the 30W output. Also, the USB-C compatibility is a huge plus. It means I can use it with various devices, which adds a lot of flexibility. I’ve tried it with a few of my friends' devices, and it works seamlessly across the board. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it can take a bit longer to recharge the power bank itself, but that’s pretty standard for this type of device. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient portable charger, I definitely recommend giving this one a shot.

I have tested this with my measuring device with my Pixel 9 Pro XL the Pack was able to output 30w with PPS, the PAck does able to output 20v 1.5A too. compact and really like the design and the LCD. the cable seems a bit flimsy but you still have another USB C port, there is also a mode to charge low current devices by double pressing power button. it did get warm during charge/discharge cycle capacity based on testing is true 10Ah battery

Thanks for the in-depth breakdown! It’s awesome to hear the charger delivered true 30W PPS output and lived up to its 10,000mAh capacity in your tests. The LCD and compact design are definitely standout features. Noted on the cable—good thing there’s that extra USB-C port and low-current mode for flexibility. Appreciate the thoughtful insights!

This is a very good quality, affordable external charger. It works really well and accepts both USB-B and USB-C cables. My old charger cost more than four times as much and this one works just as well. It also has a built in short cable with a USB-C terminus!

Great portable charger for any device

If you have teenage kids who don't believe in having their phones charged until the phone dies and they text you from another friends phone to pick them up. then this is the charger for you and your family. Not only it works as a charger for devices with USB A or USB C, but it also is very portable, not very heavy and most importantly, not very expensive (which again..teenagers! ). I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and I can confirm that the 10000 MAH is accurate. I am able to get it to charge an IPHONE 13 about 3 times, Pixel 9 Pro twice, and a variety of laptops with USB C charging port about 3 quarters of a time. You are also able to charge devices while the charger itself is charging which is a plus. Taking it onto an airplane is no issue and it doesn't trigger anything at TSA like some other devices. the attached charging cable seems ok but I can't judge it as the amount of time used isn't going to give me reliability indicators. The screen that shows the percentage left in the brick is good and the button on the side that turns the screen on is a nice touch. the charger has a USB C and a USB A ports to plug your own cables. charging it takes about 2 hours using a fast charger. I don't know what's the max input to charge the brick, but the max output is 30 watts. I need to say though that this charger seems A LOT like Anker's 20000 MAH portable charger but a bit smaller and a lot lighter. Anker's is more expensive and has twice the charging juice but its also more expensive and heavier. i do recommend this portable charger.

This portable charger from Insignia is a great compact device for those who need on the go power for their mobile devices. As someone who travels extensively, I always seek to have a reliable one with me, and this device will be joining me on my next trip because of its capacity, connectivity, and ease of use. A few things stand out on it that help make it unique: the built-in USB-C cable, so you always have a way to connect your device, and the small digital display that gives useful information about battery capacity and time remaining. This is much more useful than the typical way other portable chargers convey this information: with just 4 small LEDs to indicate 25/50/75/Full. The side button also allows for a measure of configuration: double-click it to enter low power mode (a dot will appear on the LCD screen) for charging small devices like smartwatches or earbuds. There are two Type-C connections: the hardwired one and an additional one. Both are bidirectional and can be used to charge up the battery as well. The Type-C ports output up to 30W, while the additional Type-A port outputs 12W. All of my mobile devices identified themselves as being in fast charge mode when connected, and the 10,000mAh capacity should be sufficient to fully charge my Galaxy S23 Ultra, with its 5000mAh battery, twice. I also connected it to my Dell XPS 15, and while Windows gave a warning the charger was slow (its normal charger is 60W), it was enough to slowly charge the battery. My HP Chromebook gave no such problems and charged almost normally, although it typically draws 45W. I do think this is best used for devices like phones or tablets, though. Overall, this is a great device. It's going on my next trip without doubt, and I've used it at both home and work with excellent results. I like the informative screen and the built-in cable, and the battery has plenty of juice for my mobile devices. Highly recommend

Portable chargers are evolving so fast these days, what was new technology last year has been blown away by stronger and faster chargers this year. Smaller is better, and with phones able to fast, and super fast charge, people want chargers that can charge as fast as their phones can handle. The new Insignia 10,000mAh Portable Charger offers a lot of features in a small package. It's physical size is roughly 2” x 4” x 1”, which means you could actually put it in your pocked without any trouble. That's something most chargers in this class can't boast because they're shape makes it awkward to do so. What I really like about this charger is that it has a built in USB-C cable that can be used to either charge your device, or charge the power bank. It saves you from having to worry about bringing a charging cable with you because it's all self contained. And the fact that it can be used as an IN/OUT port means you don't have to worry about plugging it in wrong. The additional USB-C port can also be used this way, to either charge a device or charge the charger. They've also included a standard USB-A port however this port can only be used for device charging. That's not a bad thing, it's just the USB-A spec that determines this. USB-C by nature supports bi-directional charging. Both of these USB-C ports are 30W true PD (power delivery). I verified this with the Insignia customer support team, who responded very quickly to my question. I also really like the small display that's included. It shows you exactly what you want to know. In normal charging use it shows a numeric percentage reading along with a circular indicator that lets you see at a glance how much charge your charger has remaining. When you switch to low power mode, there's a small dot that comes on in the display to alert you to being in that mode. When you connect it to recharge, it shows you not only the percentage of charge it has, but also the hours and minutes it will take to fully charge it back up. The display is small but shows a lot of information. It's bright and pretty easy to read. As far as charging the power bank, I ran it completely empty of charge. I then connected it to a 100W USB-C power adapter. I was able to charge the power bank to 100% in 1 ½ hours. That's really good. Of course you can use lower powered, power adapters to charge it, but keep in mind it will take longer to get to 100%. I have a Samsung S24 Ultra smartphone that is capable of super fast charging. When I connect the Insignia Portable Charger to it, it does show that it's in “super fast charging” mode and it does charge very quickly. If you travel on airlines, this power bank is allowed in your carry-on as it's 10,000mAh capacity is well below the 27,000mAh limit set by the airline industry. It would be nice if the power bank indicated it was safe for airline travel, I have other power banks that do have this label on them. It makes it easy for the luggage inspectors to sign off on a power bank if it has this type of label. I've used it to charge my phone and also several pairs of ear buds. I kept the power bank in it's default (PD) mode while charging my ear buds and it worked just fine. If you have an Apple watch or AirPods, this is where the low power mode would be used. Double clicking the button on the power bank puts it into low power mode for these devices. Double clicking the button again, returns it to it's default (PD) charging mode. Because it has a total of three charging ports on it, you could charge up to three devices at the same time, but keep in mind this is a 30W maximum output which will be divided between all the ports being used, not 30W for each device that's plugged in. That being said, it should also be noted that this power bank is geared for smaller device charging (phones, wearables, small tablets, etc.). If you want to charge your laptop, generally speaking you would need more power than the 30W this power bank can provide (although you may be able to get some life into your laptop with it, it will be a slow charge). This is in no way a knock at this power bank. I only bring it up because the box itself mentions it can charge laptops, while the listing on Best Buy does not. It charges lower power devices very well, and not everyone needs the added power (and added expense) to charge laptops. I actually did connect the power bank to two of my laptops. On my “standard” format laptop, it didn't register that it was charging at all, but on my Asus ProArt, which is more of a tablet format of laptop, it did go into charging mode but told me to use a higher power charger. So you're results will vary, it just depends on the power consumption during charging for your laptop. This power bank has a very sleek look and with the built in cable that can function as a carrying strap, which is a handy way to deal with the cable when it's not in use. I like the fast charging ability which works great with my S24 Ultra. The matte black color is stylish and classic. I've listed the pros and cons below as I see them. This is a great charger for this low price, and it will certainly save you on long trips or hikes. PROS Small, slim form factor (fits easily in a pocket) Lightweight 30W PD fast charge capable built in charging cable Bright, informative display. Ability to charge a wide variety of smaller devices including AirPods and Apple Watches CONS Given the cable is built in, I can only think that extra care needs to be taken to not stress the cable more than necessary (although it appears very sturdy) Can't charge the power bank and charge a device at the same time

I tested the charger by charging two smartphones and it worked great. I really like the LCD smart display. The setup guide doesn't explain why Low Power Charging Mode is needed for the listed low power devices, but this feature prevents the charger from shutting off when charging a device that draws minimal current. Without this feature, the charger could think that the low power device was fully charged and prevent charging. It's nice to know we have this charger in the event that we lose power for an extended period of time.

This Insignia 30W 10k mAh charger is a nice little addition to my go bag that I keep in my car. I really like the small and light frame that it has, but it does feel well built as well. With these types of chargers, it’s always a challenge to find a cable to use to charge, but this unit has a USB Type C built right into it and I find that to be my favorite feature of this. The cable also doubles as a handle if you want it to be with the clever design of how it’s attached to the battery pack. I also appreciate the little status screen to see how much charge is left as a percentage and an estimated time of depletion or until charged. The Type C cable that is built in is bi-directional, so you can use it to charge up the battery as well. The battery pack has the ability to charge up my Galaxy S24 Ultra twice and the 30W of power lets my phone charge up fully in about an hour or so. This also works for most Apple devices and I use it for my Galaxy Watch Ultra in a pinch as well (Thanks to Samsung removing the ability to use my S24 Ultra as a wireless charger for this watch)

First off. It's like the perfect size. Fit right in your back pocket. And the built-in usb-c cable doubles basically as a lanyard? That's pretty dang neat how convenient that is. I have several others that are waayy larger, but they are always a hassle to carry around and weigh like a brick. Not this one. For ports, it's got the built-in usb-c as previously mentioned which is in/out, a female usb-c port for both input "charging" or output and a regular usb for legacy cables. That's three devices potentially at the same time. For charging, it's got a simple lcd screen for battery %, and estimated remaining time based on how much charge is being drawn down. That's a feature I don't have on any of my other chargers. As for the battery itself, it's 10,000mAh which means it will last quite a while before it needs to be recharged. And it still works normally even after being pulled from a freezing car. All in all, this Insignia 30W charger is right in the sweet spot for being the best walk-around pocket charger you can buy.
